Probably the most authentic Chinese food you will get in south shore Brossard and that is a place my Chinese friends recommended!Generous portions, Big menu, food is tasty and very affordable.Great place to come in large groups, the restaurant as it’s own parking, staff are nice and polite.Restaurant is very large and lots of table.Decor can be improved. Overall great place to come when you crave Chinese food.
Ordered takeout on a Monday night. The chicken fried rice Canadian Style was absolutely unacceptable to be served to a customer. The chicken was old smelly and hard, and the rice was clearly past due as-well. I was up all night with horrible stomach pains until finally throwing up three times throughout the night. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! If you eat here please make sure to return your food if it’s given to you in this condition and DO NOT ATTEMPT TO EAT IT!
It is the Chinese staple place for Dim Sum. Food is OK to a little above average. Some items are better than others, too many to name. It's not a new place so I wouldn't say it's the cleanest place. But definitely the authentic Cantonese Dim Sum place.
You usually go here with big family, so it's normal there's a lot of people and waiting time. Despite the wait, dim sum here never disappoints!!!! Love it!
Worst dim sum experience. I’ve been here years ago and always kept a positive experience however it’s quality and service has decreased immensely over time. The place also looked so run down; the chairs were taped up, cracks in the ceiling and the rug was all ripped. I felt like I was eating in an old construction zone. The servers were rude and not accommodating; they also didn’t want to speak any English. The service was super slow and not to mention, ancient! The carts were covered with plastic to “protect” the food due to covid and there was also limited selection. The plates were the small paper plates from the dollar store!! I didn’t even want to take any picture due to how poor it looked. The cherry on the cake was that we found a hair in one of the dishes! The manager finally came to see us (after asking many times) and didn’t want to believe us.Save your money and drive to Imperial downtown Chinatown. Much cleaner, technology sophisticated and excellent service. For the price to quality ratio, much much better!
1 star is being generous, there should be a negative option for this place. They have the worst customer service for the most average food. The server was obnoxiously aggressive, when i requested for her recommendation she rolled her eyes right in front of us. She didnt attend to our table even once after she took the order. When it was time for the bill, obviously i would not be generous, to that she shamelessly demanded for more money and took the machine away. Avoid this place if you can, places like this do not care or respect people.
So... arrived in Montreal hungry and decided to try a place in Brossard that has a number of lobster dishes. We ordered wonton soup, yeung chow (house) fried rice, "Thai" beef and ginger lobster. The wonton soup arrived first and I'd have to say the broth was passable but overall, the frozen wonton soup at Costco is better.Then... we see the waiter bringing the fried rice and it looked gooood but we were confused - it looked the way really good fried rice should look but it tasted like steamed rice. But we paid for fried rice ?The ginger lobster was average and a tad pricey - $38 for a 1.5 lb lobster. The Thai beef was ok.And even we were though dining in at the restaurant, everything - except for the tea - was served in/on take-out containers. Really??To say that we weren't impressed is an understatement.
Very much dissapointed I came a Sunday, When we entered the restaurants they told us we could sit altogether but made us use 2 different table and they weren't even close, they were on opposite sides of the restaurant. Second their service was slow which was quite surprising since the last time I came everything was fast, but this time everyone in the restaurant was waiting for the little cart of food, some people even standing up to ask for food since they had waited for so long. Thirdly they had less food then usual they had around five cart of food (that came very slowly) , and for the rest we had to ask if we were even lucky to catch a waited. I don't remember ever having any of these issues in the Montreal one in Chinatown. But the food we had was good as usual but maybe that's because we we were hungry. I hope these issues are only related to Covid and that they'll soon be resolved.
What a place.....amazing service, everyone is super kind, the food is great , very cultural, traditional and tasty, lots of space, nice AC, good tables and on top of everything the prices are very reasonable.
The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and helpful in both English and French. The portions are are in sharing size. The staff are as happy to be back at work as we are to sit inside and eat. We ordered shrimp dumpling soup as a starter and the consistency is wonderful not too salty or msg.
