Chinese Hot Pot Soup

The food was fresh and I love how everyone has their own individual hot pot. The service tonight, however, was severely lacking due to the restaurant being understaffed on a busy Saturday night (I do sympathize with our waitresses though, they were doing their best under the circumstances). It was 6:15pm when we sat down and by the time we left, it was 9:53pm. The meat was served at least an hour after everything else and it took a very long time to get our beverages. I'm not one to have high expectations in terms of quality of service in an asian restaurant, but for a hot pot restaurant where everything is mostly just raw ingredient prep, I find the wait was way too long. It's a pity though, because the dingku broth was very tasty and the evening would have been more enjoyable had it not been dragged out in the span of four hours.

The meat and homemade fish paste are nice. The vegetables are sometime not as fresh but edible. Service is a bit slow just because there is only 1 main waiter/waitress and I believe 1 person that gets the food out. The broths are a bit disappointing since they are a bit underseasoned. Overall it's just an OK place, still enjoyed it though.

That's a crazy good hot pot my friends. Amazing choices of broth and tasty food. I love hot pot but my only experience was little sheep in chinatown. Little sheep is really good but this one just took the lead. Service was amazing and they serve sweet tea as a "basic" drink. Price is good and worth for l the quality you get. Tofu was amazing too and i'm usually not a fan. Overall, that place is my new favorite spot for hotpot and its worth giving it a try!

Amazing place, lots of choices for broth and meats. Taste very on point and the spicy really kick you if you’re willing to give it a go. The only reason for 4 stars is staff need better training and food need to comes out faster and accurate.

My boyfriend and I both had stomach upsets after dinner here. A lot of dishes we ordered didn’t come without explanation. Apparently some ingredients were out of stock. Also the frog meat didn’t seem to be fresh. Overall not great experience considering the price of the dinner menu. Not thinking to come back.

Staff is not very attentive if you don’t speak their native tongue. Most of the time they are just running around due to staff shortage and it takes awhile before they attend to you. Food is decent but a bit on the pricier side. Good selection of broths. When you order dishes that they don’t have, instead of telling you that they don’t have it, they just don’t bring it even if you constantly order it. When you ask the staff they simply say “if we don’t bring it, it means we don’t have it” but how are we supposed to know that? Initially I thought they forgot until I asked and received that response.Service could be improved, other than that it’s a decent place to go for hotpot in Brossard

it was a good broth. service was hard due to pandemic, but decent.

Excellent place to eat with friend and familly. Nice service and good price.

Update 2: update from several visits (july 202)Fondue pekking is still a good hot pot in town, but some menu items are not availanle anymore (fried chickens, fried skin chickens, etc..).1. Fresh delicious lambs (I'm a big fan of lamb Hotspot)2. Great variety of dishes: seafood, vegetables, beef tendons, tofu, shrimp, etc.3. Most importantly, the food is served fast despite the busy crowd! If Happy Lamb is best hotpot in Montréal, Fondue Pekin will be second best.--One of the best hotpot restaurant in MontréalI've been in a few hotpot restaurants. Their service is fast, friendly and the order always comes correctly. The food quality is excellent! Their lamb and beer slices are tender and tasty. Dont forget to order fried tofu, beef tendon, and fish tofu (yum!).

If you love mushrooms. This place has lots of choices.Owners and employees are very friendly.Soup base are nice and has lots of choices for chilly paste.
