This is such a wonderful place. Went here for breakfast and everything about this place was awesome... in fact it was so good we came twice. Service, location, and food were all great. The cheesy eggs on rye bread were a great way to start off the day. Will come here again if we visit PEI
Brutally slow barista. After 15 minutes my cappuccino was watery at best. Very disappointing. Barista maybe should learn to sling coffee and not worry about his “look” so much.
A must experiance , relaxing and suttle coffee shop with a exceptional detail to flavor and presentation in their food, deserts and personally roasted coffee beans.The bacon & chicken sandwich is mind blowing. Every bite was warn and melted in your mouth. The chicken was especially tender and had a wonderful hint of garlic.They also have pick up sandwiches, deserts and coffee if your on the move and can't sit to savor the flavors.
Visiting from Toronto and tried an iced coffee here. Absolutely delicious, a wonderful small business, and great service. It will definitely be on my list of places I visit on my annual trips to PEI.
There has been a coffee shop at this location on Victoria Row since at least the late 1990s, but the latest—an outpost of the emerging Receiver empire—is very satisfying. A convenient location with great food and drink and a beautiful interior space deserves appreciation.
My sister and I had a great breakfast here. Service was excellent and the food was great. This will be a do over on my next visit!
