Awesome place! Top notch service makes you feel right at home. I craved the lobster risotto downstairs but didn’t finish my pint, and my lovely waitress Timera (hope I spelled it correctly) made it happen!Happy hour oysters are well worth the price. Might not be best of the best, but still pretty good in terms of quality, and it’s extremely satisfying to order a plate full of fresh oysters. The second and third time around the oysters are even bigger and fresher! I had 30 oysters all for myself the third time around and it was perfect

The happy hour oysters are a great deal here. I believe this is the only restaurant on the island with $1 oysters. For dessert, be sure to try the sticky date. It was delicious! The restaurant is closed on Sunday. We will be back for happy hour the next time we visit the island.

We were there in February on a Saturday night. People were trying to have a good time and dance within their own booths and the staff were being overly aggressive. They kicked out an older couple first, then the rest of their table left, then a table of eight younger women shortly after. When they brought us our bill, several items were improperly input. They had double charged our food, and the drinks were all charged under different names. When we questioned it, we received an aggressive response and a threatening from the server. Another server then came over and put more pressure on us, as if we were in the wrong and being a nuisance. It was a very uncomfortable situation. We had ordered a cranberry and vodka and it was input as "moose radler" and a "vodka shot" and charged as $13. $8 for the "moose radler", a splash of cranberry, and $5 for the vodka shot. When we questioned this, they said it was a cheaper way of charging that drink. They got aggressive again and we no longer felt comfortable arguing with the server so we just accepted it. Abysmal service here... it's as if they don't know they are in the hospitality and tourism industry where they actually have to show some sort of hospitality. Get new management - who can make sure your customers are happy and not kicking them all out or trying to overcharge, bully, or intimidate your customers. Will never return.

The main problem here is how LOUD the band was is the restaurant's speakers. I used my decibel meter and it showed 102 db ! We politely ask if they could bring it down a tiny bit, they politely told us that it wouldn't happen. So we basically ate, drank our beers and left. Service was great, food was all right for the price. Special mention to the oysters who were fresh and delicious. As a professional musician myself, live music is one the thing I enjoy the most in life. I find sad when pub owner seems to think that ''very loud means very good''. Also, it's very sad for the employees working long shift as they will potentially suffer permanent ear damage from working in such a loud environment...

$1 oyster happy hour!!! first time trying it and not disappointed :)

10/10 happy hour oysters $1/oyster is unbeatable! Happy hour from 4-6pm every day even in the winter time.

Good service. Seafood chowder is good. Sticky date pudding was amazing but the caramel sauce is too overpowering.

Had a truly excellent waiter who was able to inform/advise us on menu items and beer choices, checked on us frequently, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a quality experience. The seating in the curved booth was cozy, fun and private. The food and drinks were delicious - so flavourful! Loved every bite of the herbed crusted haddock, veggies and mashed. Hubby thought the Island burger was simply the BEST!

Friendly pub with fresh food and live music! Comfortable seating and following COVID measures.

Our daughter purchased a gift certificate for my birthday over the phone in March. She was told I just had to give my name. When we went to have a meal, they couldn't find it so we went on our way very disappointed as we had driven in all the way from Albion. Was told a manager would call. No call for 2 weeks so I emailed. Jillian said she would rectify everything and send us the gift certificate by mail. Nothing arrived. My daughter called and was told they were so sorry, they would refund her and still send us a gift certificate. Again, weeks pass and nothing. My emails go unanswered. Please do NOT purchase any gift certificates from these people. They will not refund or honour them. Disgusting customer service.
