Nice ice cream shop in PEI, very friendly staff and helpful, nice flavours
Waffle cone was stale and inedible. Had to throw it out. The COWS creamery factory had fresh cones. :(
We love Good ice cream, so we had to try COWS while on PEI. The ice cream was good but the scoops were wimpy for a good ice cream shop. My husband had a sundae and I had a double decker with chunky chocolate mint and Gooey Mooey. The Gooey Mooey was surprisingly amazing! I wish they provided a place to sit, but no seating inside.
The popular fun flavors might be good if you actually get a scoop with anything in them. My peanut butter cup was just plain ice cream and my wife’s messie bessie was just chocolate with maybe a hint of toffee. The waffle cones were stale and soft as well.
After seeing lines around the corner at Peake's Quay, I was happy that I'd opted for this location. One scoop of strawberry ice cream was just the thing to end a day in Charlottetown on a hot June day.
Friendly staffs and hygienic ice cream station, I personally don't really enjoy the popular flavour since it is too sweet. But I do love the Coffee flavour ?
Awesome store in a historians dream of a former pharmacy building. Not to be disappointed, the ice cream counters carries all of the fan favorites in the way of flavors, and the staff are quick to prepare your order to your requests. An exceptionally great tasting, and creamy, ice treat, on any day, you will never be disappointed in having an ice-cream, the way it is meant to taste, and with true authentic flavors with every lick or spoonful. Indulge yourself, and enjoy! Also in the same store is a fantastic selection of popular apparels, something for everyone, proudly promoting the COWS brand and tongue-in-cheek references to mod-coms and hit Movies and TV shows.
Iconic ice cream brand, and perfect downtown location. You can't go wrong and visitors should try it at least once on their trip.
