3 adults, 2 beverages, 3 meals, $178 and food was served cool (not warm and definitely not hot)! Lobster roll tasted fishy and ate 1 bite, strip loin was tuff with zero flavour. Chicken had great flavour but had so much skin that parts of the chicken was undercooked and other sections were very tough to chew. Would not recommend for price vs quality. Waitress was lovely and place was very quiet for prime supper hour which was nice. The atmosphere was fantastic!!
My husband, daughter, and I all felt that the food was outstanding and our waiter was excellent! We started with an assortment of PEI oysters fresh out of the water. Our mains included a generous portion of the jerk spiced crab legs, the portobello mushroom wellington, maple glazed salmon and a side of bronzed scallops. We left feeling that we had discoverd a gem in Prince Edward Island.
My husband and I went to this restaurant the last night we were in PEI and boy, were we impressed!!! Andrew, our server, was so attentive, helpful, and kind. Our appetizers were amazing, especially the lobster risotto. The brick pressed chicken was one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had and the beef tenderloin was tender and delicious too. Highly recommend this place for a meal you won’t forget!
I can’t say enough good things. One of the BEST meals we’ve ever had and without a doubt the highlight so far of our East Coast foodie adventure. To start, we enjoyed the Rockerfeller - it was incredible, followed by the 6oz Tenderloin (Certified Island Beef Aged 45 Days In House) topped with Bronzed Scallops and the Jerk Spiced Crab Legs with a Kale Caesar Salad. Every aspect of every dish was simply amazing and so delicious. Great service and ambiance. We will have to come back. Make a reservation we saw people getting turned away without one. Include this if you’re going to PEI.
Went there because it was close to our hotel as I just had knee surgery. Didn't know what to expect but I was planning on seafood but decided to go with the striploin steak. Great decision - best steak I have had in a restaurant in several years. The sauce was to die for. My wife had oysters which I sampled - excellent - fresh and full. We'll be going back!!
We chose this based on the great reviews, but were disappointed. The food is fine (not great) but the decor is very tired: streaky mirrors, dirty upholstery, etc.
Excellent food and service I am from NB and I visit that restaurant on a regular basis It is always good, both the service and the foods
The service and food are impeccable. The atmosphere was perfect for our 20th anniversary dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious, I recommend trying the kale caesar salad with your meal, it was so good!
We enjoyed our dining experience immensely. Our plates were decadent and we found our welcoming waiter Brian to be an excellent source of information from wine pairing to local delights. We can’t thank you enough - it was a truly memorable evening!
This was a thoroughly positive dining experience. I started with the seafood chowder. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. NO potato or vegetables at all, just seafood in a delicious broth. My main was seafood risotto which was so delicious. My wife had the short rib which was also delicious. We had five in our party and all agreed this was one of the best meals we had had in years. The service was exceptional as well. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
