Visiting PEI for the first time from Moncton & decided to eat here for dinner. Worst Chinese food and worst attitude I’ve ever dealt with!The chicken balls were soggy, The chicken fried rice tasted burnt, with the most disgusting chicken pieces in it; considering we were super hungry and couldn’t even eat this meal says a lot.Egg rolls were clearly frozen for a long period of time, and then deep fried, & tasted like pure grease.I watched them scoop sweet and sour sauce from a pot (with no lid), into a pitcher, and then into the serving cups. This was in the main room not the kitchen, super yum with all of the flies/insects around.When we returned for a refund considering we only ate a few bites of each meal, the owner was defensive and kept questioning if we’ve ever seen “dark meat” before. We know good Chinese food and this certainly isn’t it. He mentioned how “he doesn’t know what we have in Moncton” and was beyond rude when all I requested was a refund to go get food elsewhere. 40$ down the drain for a student isn’t nice.People like him make it hard wanting to support local businesses, as well was wanting to return as a tourist. Nobody should get that treatment!Having just completed my food safety course, I’d say steer clear of this place.

I grew up in Charlottetown, and when my mom could afford it we would have the number 2 for 2…. I moved away many a years ago..Well it has been more then 30 years since then and I was thrilled when I looked up the restaurant when we arrived here in Charlottetown and there it was with the number 2 for 2 still available. I was so excited to order this and praying it was going to be just as good as I remembered. Well it was! Thank you so much!
Got a meal on mother's day and is was wrong and no answer on the phone to get it right. Took two days before they got back to us and they did replace the oder the next weekend at a discounted price. They said they were busier then ever but I knowthey are not cause they don't have table service going like it use to be.
I was living away for a few years in a place where there was no Chinese food restaurants, I called for delivery one evening and was trying to decide between two items in a combo and told the man I was sorry and explained I was away and wanted it all but knew I couldnt eat it all , he gave me the combo I wanted and for free gave me a 1/2 order of the other dish I wanted. Was extremely friendly and the delivery was great and the driver was friendly and prompt as well. I will be ordering from there again . Good food amazing service.
Waited 2 hours for food delivery, called to check up on the order 2 times, 30 minutes apart, and was told it was on the way both times. 3 hours later, still never recieved the food, and dont plan on ever receiving it. And yet every time you call they reassure that the food was just sent out. Learn to be upfront and honest with your customers.
Well we definitely love the food ..the owners are great people .The only issue I have is that I find they never answer the phones.Is ur number on the website the right one.Two weeks ago I was wanting some food from ur business ...I tried calling 6 times and finally gave up.Went across street and got my Chinese food there after first call.
The last three times we ordered food for a family of 6 we order hours ahead and they are still two hours late
This is the best tasting Chinese food in Charlottetown. The man who greets you is so friendly and genuine. They must have new owners. Changing my 1 star review to a 5. Have eaten there 5 times in the last 6 months and taste and service are consistent. Better than Canton Cafe ? My wait times have never been more than 20 minutes. Food always hot and fresh.Old review : Terrible customer service. Misleading prices on EatsPEI.
Don't waste your money here, there are much better Chinese restaurants! Everything about my meal was poor quality and bland. The beef and broccoli was essentially long pieces of broccoli stems and a few pieces of chewy beef. The eggroll was a hunk of firm, meaty filling, and the chicken balls were 90% breading smothered in a terrible sauce. This was overpriced yet cheap food just thrown together as a cheap way to say you're a restaurant owner.
