Great burgers and great fries!This place has the same style/quality as Five Guys burger chain. It's not fancy but you're coming here for the food anyways....The burgers are cooked fresh on a griddle. Fries are also fresh from PEI potatoes.The prices are a bit on the high side, but if you're looking to save money and the weather is good, skip getting drinks and bring your own and eat outdoors. While normally I wouldn't recommend stiffing a business trying to make a go, at $3.00 per cup + tax for fountain pop is a rip off. ($10 for 3 fountain sodas is excessive).Pro-tip - they throw in a scoop of fries into the bag, so you get a lot of fries. An order of regular fries is typically enough for 2 people.Two must stops for us when visiting PEI is Boom Burger and Cows Ice Cream.
Boomburger had no BOOM for me. It was okay. It's nice to have a fresh burger, not a frozen burger patty, but not much flavour past that. Buns also had no texture, like a bun with some texture that doesn't go a little soggy. Fries were also okay, but have definitely had better. They charge for the fry dipping sauces, stick with the ketchup, it's free!
What a great little restaurant providing locally sourced food.This place is never understaffed everyone looks like they’re having such a great time it adds to the atmosphere which is simple and appealing.I’ve never walked out of there feeling like the food has ever been absolutely perfect every time
My husband and I were served this burger today from your restaurant, It was completely raw, and unsafe to consume. I do not recommend coming here!! Not happy customers
Burgers were really good, the buns were toasted and buttered, adding to the flavour. Free topping options were good - not skimped on, and the food portions were large. Staff were super friendly and always doing something...stocking, sanitizing, cooking...the whole time we were there. I rated BOOMburger only 4 stars as it is really pricey for a burger meal, with no combo options available.
The burgers might look like they've been through the ringer, but the taste is there! Tons of options to build the burger your way and always an overflowing abundance of fries to go along with it! Located on the highway, it's a quick easy in & easy out while traveling throughout the island!
I am not one to write reviews, least of all for a fast food experience. I was extremely satisfied with the exceptional, above-and-beyond service that I received at BOOMburger today.I was out for lunch with a friend (who by the way had never been to BB), I ordered a poutine and was picking up another poutine order for takeout. When asked "for here or to go" I said one for here and one to go. While they were preparing our meals, one of the employees called out to suggest preparing the second poutine once we were ready to leave, to which I replied extatically "yes, please".On top of that excellent service, when we were set to leave, I looked at the cook who began packing up the to-go order. While handing me the fresh poutine, he asked how the food was in a genuine way and told us both to have a great day, which left us walking out of the restaurant discussing this amazing service that we had just experienced.

Love boom burger , everytime we are on the island we try to stop here .. they give you like 2 lb of fries in the bottom of your bag everytime! Also very quick and very fresh .. I'll be back boom burger !!
Food is sloppy but that's what makes it amazing! Odd closing hours to benefit anyone running late. Who does that? Awesome
