Food is fantastic, I would love more of it. However, the customers are brutal. I've had to leave twice now as to not miss my bus. If there are 2 people ahead of you, expect a long wait. Waited 10 minutes for a single lady to be indecisive and incredibly picky and take forever. Ended up having to leave without being able to order anything again.Updated my review. The food is still great and service has been much quicker and efficient. I will continue to stop here on my way to work as the food is cheap and the portions are generous! Keep up the great work Jerk Box!
I only like this place because of their breakfast. I live all the way in Ajax and I drive all the way to the West end just to get their breakfast. They should think about upgrading the place it’s a little rundown

I have visited this location more than once and let me just say the food is phenomenal.
This is a great spot for stew peas. It's cooked fresh every Friday. The desserts are great too. Red velvet and black cake. The BBQ chicken is also good and very affordable. Small spot but always busy. Everything else on the menu is so so.
I had the $11 large jerk chicken meal with stewed chicken gravy, rice and coleslaw. The chicken, rice and gravy were delicious and those portions were large, enough for two meals. Unfortunately the coleslaw was dry and flavourless. Despite that, I definitely recommend you try this place and I will definitely patronize The Jerk Box again. Also the menu is small and hard to read so I hope they fix that.
