I'm giving this place 3 stars because the son of the owner of this place turned it into something actually worth visiting.That being said, they're selling a $9 bottle of wine for $30 there. I've worked at restaurants and cafes my entire life, and studied law a little to know that this isn't right.I suggest you guys continue to make adjustments to cater to the community that has ignored this place for so long due to things like this.
Talk about fresh and great tasting pastries. You have to try their Natas (Portuguese tarts). Espresso hit the spot. Was in the area 2 mornings and went back the second day. Will return when back in that area of the city.
It is great pastry, polite and respectful new girl that join to them at counter. Bread was amazing. Best portuguese custard tarts in Toronto
Had a terrible experience here; server unmasked, rude and the custard tarts were burnt. Bought a donut that tasted like fish - maybe change the oil? Disgusting to see them flaunting health rules, made me nervous that they don’t wash hands etc. never going back!!
Thought we’d try it out since we were in the area, nata’s were dry and seemed like it sat out for a day. Employees seem very rude. Would not recommend or return.
Don't go here! Disgusting.The tall bro-y dude that served us kept wiping his nose with his fingers then used the same hands to grab the pastries. Didn't wash his hands. Didn't use tongs. It was so disgusting. Toronto public health should shut this place down.He also hand no mask at all.We were in shock. We will never be back.
The baked goods are always great. Quick and helpful service. A few of the staff have to be more careful to wear masks over their noses and mouths when they are serving customers. (Please be careful and respectful so that we ALL can be safe!)
Fantastic variety of all sorts of different pastries and breads! Very friendly staff ! Fast service definitely a must visit! Cheers to all the friendly staff! Not to mention Jason him self is always there and available to help!
