I now order the fried chicken, it is delicious & plentiful! Enough for 2 meals. The Spencer steak 16oz or more is delicious, the baked potatoes are the best! The ambiance is perfect âJockosâ if youâd it were mor upscale it wouldnât be Jockos! Always a wonderful treat!
My new fav place for filet mignon! Portions were exceptionally large which meant delicious leftovers for another meal. Even my kids explored new foods and loved the meals!

This place has not changed in 50 years except for the prices, which was necessary to survive. Quality and quantity have remained the same. Best steak house not only on the central coast but in the Western states. Chain steak houses do not come close to delivering what Jockoâs does.
We had a great server, Hans. But our food took forever to come out then when it did, it was lukewarm. One of our steaks was undercooked, and the Spencer was so fatty. Sadly, it was just not a great experience at all.

We have gone a few times always great, this time however was different. Waited over an hour to have drinks refilled and nothing so when we asked our server for refills he got very frustrated and said âyou know Iâm busy everything hit at once and need to catch upâ. With that said we waited over an hour to begin with and with the servers response it completely killed our experience, we travel a long distance to come up here and this was the experience of new customers âour friendsâ and those that have been here previously. For us itâs no longer the go to when in the area. You are in a service industry and charge a premium youâre service should reflect that. Very disappointed.
