I wish I could rate this place zero stars. This place is a disaster. First, I walked in there and overhear the workers giving me derogatory comments (based on my light complexion, even though I'm not even from European descents, but that's besides the point). I just came to pick up some veggie soup I ordered. They literally threw my soup in a container and put it in a paper bag. As soon as I walked outside the restaurant the paper bag became soggy and the soup container ripped out of the bag and spilled all over the floor and on my pants. I was soooooo uncomfortable with the yelling and comments that they were making, that I didn't even feel comfortable going back and asking for my money back. Never ever go here. Absolute waste of time and money and an overall headache.Note to future customers: If you are white, or white-passing, good luck trying to get food from here. They clearly have resentment towards all light-skinned people, to the point where they will even make customers uncomfortable for no reason and lose business over it.

You can tell this is a soulful spot in the community. Excellent, unassuming ital veggie takeout. Ordered the combo received a delightful, flavourful mix of dishes over rice and peas.Note it's cash only, atm on site. Thanks for the warm welcome and great eats!
