Very good coffee, both drip and espresso. Bakery noticeably better than an average Portuguese spots.
Went to this bakery a couple of times and was never impressed with the taste. But today ate MOLD instead of desert… The freshness of food and cleanliness of the cafe is questionable if the staff saw this moldy desert and still sold it. At least we got a refund but that doesn’t matter after stomach ache and food poisoning from eating half of the desert before noticing the mold! Do not go there.
I used to love this place especially for the egg tarts but went today and was disappointed. The cake slice I bought did not taste fresh and the rice pudding had two circles of mold in it. I had to bring it back and take a different one. Feel like maybe they're not doing as well but I used to love their egg tarts (they were out of them).
One of the best spots for classic Portuguese Pastries in Toronto. A Must visit.
Awesome. Great little spot. Delightful old school.
great bread, and pastries.
Okay, I've been to quite a few Portuguese bakeries in the GTA. Without a doubt, I'm absolutely, positively certain that Doce Minho has the best tasting custard tarts (pastéis de nata) in the GTHA. They are consistently fresh and baked to perfection. The dough crispy and chewy in the right spots. The ratio to custard is also proper. Highly recommended. They know what they do well, and this places deserves its success!
Bread is great (pizza dough, too!) but the pastries are disappointing. Brownies from here had walnut shells in them!
friendly people, they serve fast and very delicious cakes, coffee's etc the love i most is very convinient
The custard tarts. The best custard tarts. Of course there is a beautiful selection of other things, but those tarts have stolen my heart. For me, best accompanied by tosta mista and espresso
