Overpriced for the poor quality you get. Would not come back to this place. The 18’piece sashimi dinner we ordered had 3 pieces of imitation crab meat and one cooked shrimp. In what universe do imitation crab meat and cooked shrimp belong in sashimi category?! Some of the sashimi pieces tasted frozen. The pad Thai on the menu said tiger shrimp but it was definitely not tiger shrimp, simply deceiving. Gyoza and mango salad came suspiciously quick after we ordered, so these were probably not made fresh. The service was fast but that in itself would not make up for poor quality food.
They key points of this restaurant are definitely (1) ambiance, (2) fish quality, and (3) speed. The atmosphere is dark and moody, which is pleasant and unique to any other place I've visited. Everything that has come out of the kitchen is of great quality. We were able to taste the freshness of the fish that was also served very cold, and to our liking. On top of the quality of the food, the time taken to leave the kitchen was exceptionally quick, only taking moments to be served after having our order taken.Despite these good qualities, there were some minor issues to our experience. Unlike other AYCE sushi spots, we weren't given an iPad to order. Instead we had a server carrying a pen and paper marking down our order. Although this normally wouldn't be an issue, for the amount we ordered this was (understandably) a challenge for our server to record, thus there were a few errors within our order. Their selection on the menu is also quite small, missing a few staple dishes to the cuisine.I will definitely consider returning, but this will not become my go-to spot for sushi. Probably best as a place to take a guest out for the mood and experience.
Amazing food, quick service and fair prices, ever since they’ve changed the ownership this restaurant have improved for the better, the downside: the desserts are precarious for the quality provided at the food
The quality of the food was good and the waitress kept coming back to take our orders. However, what we ordered initially was only given to us in dribs and drabs, and we had to keep asking about our initial order many times. One item was missed altogether and despite repeating that order many times, we had to wait till the end to get it.I liked the Thai, Japanese combo very much and they also had short ribs and a few meat items for the non sushi eating people.
Good service, great food and fair price. I am definitely returning!
Ambiance: Great, mood lighting, dark interior/furniture. Unique sculptors on the wall. Fairly large establishment with different types of seating (booths, high table tops, bar, more intimate seating etc). The washrooms were really clean. The music was a little interesting, hard rock (it didn't really go with the ambiance) but I did not mind.Service: impeccable, the servers were very attentive. The food was brought out quickly.Food: everything was fresh and delicious. I was pleased with the sushi selection. I was very fond of the Thai food options, the shrimp Thai curry was absolutely my favorite. You can order as many times as you wish as the portion size was decent per serving.End the night with fried banana + ice cream.
Just a random sushi place that I went to but I fell in love with their sushi rolls. They're awesome. I came back just after a few days I tried their sushi rolls especially the Dragon Sushi roll, the salmon melts in the mouth. One of the best japanese sushi rolls that I've tried.
Wonderful atmosphere pleasant staff, our waitress was amazing. Food was Hot and Tasty. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
I have gone a few time for the lunch buffet and it is amazing. The service is excellent also. Would highly recommend to go visit if you haven't already.
Been here for lunch a few times now. Service was great on our last visit. A few items that aren’t usually on a lunch AYCE including escargots. Also sashimi is also included with the lunch price.
