We have been patrons over the years if this restaurant and always enjoyed the food. Friday night was the exception. We sat outside which was what we wanted. The waitress was very friendly. They brought bread to the table which was hard. While we realize itâs crusty bread that does t mean it should be hard on the inside too. My friend kindly asked if we could get some fresher bread and the person who came to our table looked at us like we were asking for something unreasonable. They said ok but then our waitress said well you know itâs crusty bread. I think we know the difference between crusty bread and bread that felt like it has been sitting out for hours. We ordered calamari to start and mussels. The mussels were great but the calamari was rubbery and overdone. We didnât say anything. The pizza we ordered was a flatbread and the toppings hardly reached each piece of the crust. The salad we ordered was overdressed and unenjoyable. We didnât say anything to the waitress. However we all said to each other that we will not go back. So disappointing.
Food was fantastic and service was great. My father in law loved everything, it was a great experience. Will definitely be back.
Excellent food in a warm inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend this locale for any type of celebration.
We love dining out and enjoy a good meal. This was our first time trying Romanos. Ambiance is nice. Service was horrible. Food was good ( not great). Over priced.All in all, we don’t recommend this place and will likely never return.
Flashback 14 years ago we had our eldest son's baptism reception here and it was awesome. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was above and beyond! Every time we decide to stop in for a bite, it's always on par. Even their take out is wonderful. It's a definitely must as once you will try it you will be back for more. Their pasta dishes are awesome, their seafood is another, give them a go, you will be back and back for more.
We had been to Romano's quite often before the pandemic. The prices have increased significantly and the portions are much smaller now. The prices on the website differ from what we were charged on our last visit. Fries are $5 on the website and we were charged $10? Also, beer is $8 on the website and we were charged $10.50? We were charged more than what was listed on their website for almost every dish that was ordered? We didn't realize at the time that we had been charged more. We understand that everyone is recovering from the pandemic but price gouging and small portion sizes is only going to result in the loss of loyal customers. We will not be returning or recommending Romano's like we previously did. Also, they seemed understaffed as it took a long time to have our order taken and for our food to arrive. We were there approximately 1.25 hrs before our food came to the table. Our waitress was pleasant enough but after offering coffee/desert she advised us that our time was almost up and we would have to leave soon?
Great food, some of the best pasta I've had, service was a little slow but that could have been due to it being Valentine's day.
If you're trying to find a restaurant where the food exceeds all expectations and the servers make you feel like you’re family, this is the place to go. Me and my family have been going to Romano’s for quite a while now and every experience has been a great one. Not only does the food taste amazing but each and every server makes you feel at home! This is by far the best restaurant in Vaughan, On!

Clients of mine, Darvon Sales, spoiled me treating me to Ramano's for the very first time. Great Italian food and now also found my favourite red wine. Loved that they don't rush you out the door, and you feel at home. Loved the place so much, that I suggested it for another client Christmas lunch with Moore JCB ? ?
