Meat overall great in the pho, however, 1 kind of meat is not fresh. Good portion.
One of the best fried rice I’ve had in a very long time. Also the Pho is super delicious, warm, comforting with excellent service by the staff. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have some great Pho in the city!
When I think of pho, I think of places exactly like Pho Viet Xpress. This a large clean dine-in restaurant in an industrial area plaza, that also serves consistent food takeout based on our experiences.Our well-done beef rice noodle soup was on point with a typically flavourful pho broth, garnishes aplenty and a decent portion. The fresh shrimp roll with vermicelli was also packed with a good number of shrimps.Recently, we ordered the same well-done beef rice noodle but also with tendon beef brisket. It was similarly tasty with additional texture from the soft tendon. Cambodia-style rice noodle soup by contrast had sweeter broth. Simple eats.
I've come here twice within just a week and both time I received phenomenal service and delicious Vietnamese food. The first time I had Pho (Noodles with Soup) and the second time I had Vermicelli. Quality was great in terms of food and service. The staff here are so sweet (they even remembered me the second time I came by). :)
I got a lot of good things to say about this place. High quality Vietnamese food, as usual I grabbed lots of apps and side dishes and I got 2 main dishes, a rice dish and a pho dish and I was overly happy with everything I tried. They have very friendly and helpful service that creates a nice atmosphere when you dine there. The prices are great for what you get and even their hours of operation are so convenient. Like I said, I only have good things to say.
The food here is amazing! Best Vietnamese food I've had in awhile. I'm Vietnamese so I can honestly say the food is really good. The papaya salad with beef jerky is my favourite. The bun bo hue is really spicy if you like spicy food. The chicken pad thai is also amazing. Probably better than most Thai places I've been to. Way better than Thai Express. They don't deliver but they use skip the dishes so I order there a lot!!
I live in the area and never thought about going here to eat because of its name, express, but there is nothing express about their food. The restaurant is clean the staffs are nice. The other Pho restaurants in the area aren't good, trust me.I had their Bun Bo Hue and it's delicious and spicy. You can ask for less spice if you can handle the heat.
The food is ok, but the large pho is to small. I was surprised by the red pepper. It is extremely spicy. I had a small slice of it, and then my face turned to red and my lips were burning for 10mins.
I ordered from here on skip and never had issues before from ordering here aside from food sometimes not tasting consistent but this time my food had a GIANT metal wire from what I assume is from a cleaning brush. I noticed it after taking a bite of my food and I couldn’t believe it. This could have left me or someone else in the ER. Wires left in the cookware is a hazard. I tossed the rest of my order along with this after I saw it. I only got refunded for the udon noodles. This is not a mistake that should ever happen.
Very clean and sanitized restaurant, good portion and great service. The Hu Tieu Nam Vang is my recommendation if you want to try something else apart from Pho.
