Wanted to support the 'little guy' restaurant in King City. Server attempted to serve a mold filled wrap. When brought to servers attention, she emptied the contents of wrap onto a new wrap; told her it was unacceptable as contents were already contaminated. she laughed it off. I should have called public health. - good luck ?
I am writing to share my recent experience with Mr. Zagros at Derry and McLaughlin.In the mood for some of the "best shawarma in town" my family and I went into the store around 6 pm, dinner. Surprised but happy to see the place empty, we quickly ordered a veg shawarma, chicken shawarma, fries and beef shish.Originally ordered a beef shawarma but was told they were out of beef. Not sure how the "best shawarma in town" has no beef at peak dinner time on a Friday night, especially in an empty store.Ordered the beef shish as an alternative. Was told it would take 15 minutes but took 35 (and still no other customers in the store and 2 people behind the counter). The beef shish was horrible; the meat did not taste good at all and I had to spit it out after the first bite and throw away the whole dish. I thought at least the chicken shawarma will be good - how could you go wrong with that; well, I'll tell you, the chicken was dry, and I bit into chunks of what felt like bone or cartilage - hard, unchewable and I had to spit it out.They also skimped on the sauce on both shawarmas - we couldn't taste a single ounce of the garlic sauce or shawarma sauce; sure you saved 50 cents by skimping on the sauce, but you lost a $50/week customer.I am all for supporting local businesses, especially after the pandemic devastation, but this store clearly does not meet the minimum standard. Either the staff don’t know what they're doing, or the store is mismanaged. If you're not looking for the "best shawarma in town", this is the place.

I was there yesterday and I had a plate of shawarma and falafel also the food is very tasty and this place is clean all the time and the people who work there are really greatThank you ,, I really recommend this place everyone should try
Great food, great service, I ordered mix chicken and meat platter for 8 people.. they packed the food so neat with the great presentation! My guests were so pleased .. so recommended!
The prices have skyrocketed, they stopped giving you garlic potatos with your plates, they serve you store-bought pitas instead of the fresh laffa, their Falafel has become a bit dry, and the beef shawarma is not shredded properly.Unfortunately, Zagros used to be really good but now it has gone downhill.
Chicken Doner Sandwich tastes just fine nothing special. The portion is enough for one person but the price, $15.99, is a bit expensive.
Visit here a few times a month, good food, always fast and good value compared to other similar places.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant couple of times but during lockdown I’ve experienced food poisoning thanks to there chicken wrap. Not sure it’s something to do with the chicken or toppings they’ve added but I’ve experienced some stomach cramps, lose motions and it made it difficult for me to eat for couples of days. I always got there wrap but due to this reason I’ll never be returning to this location.
