I'm a pretty easy guy to please but this restaurant just flopped on all aspects. We came as a large party (14 people) the other week and nobody left happy.Service was so incredibly slow, it took an hour in between each serving of our initial drinks, then antipasto, and entrees. Nearly 3 hours for a fairly simple dinner is flat out ridiculous. We all agreed to not stay for dessert and get out of there as soon as we could.The place is loud, really loud. One of our older members ended up with a pounding headache and had to periodically go outside to take a break from the noise.The food itself is nothing to write home about. Antipasto was good, not amazing. The entrees were all over the place. One pizza was undercooked and still had raw flour, another was burnt and super crispy. An order of risotto was basically just rice, not creamy, not cheesey, just rice. Steaks were way to salty, pasta was just meh. I had the ossobuco, which was cooked well and tender, but was so bland.At around $100 a head plus an automatic 18% tip for mediocre service and food just isn't worth it at all.

Very poor service, average food, dirty glasses and cutlery, all for the lost cost of $50/person.

I just had my bridal shower here this weekend and I had an excellent experience with Castello. The venue is lovely, but more importantly, the food and service was great! In particular I want to acknowledge Kevin and Rodina’s excellent care and attention - they were both so kind and helpful and made sure my guests had everything they needed. I’m very happy with Castello and would definitely come back for dinner and more parties!

This restaurant was not equipped to handle multiple parties. My party arrived at 6:15 for our 6:30 reservation. We got our main courses at 9pm exactly. 6:15 to 9:00!!! And we finished our meals in 20 minutes, desperate to get out of there. We also had to go through the annoying process of 'preordering' our appetizers, which didn't make a single difference since they arrived after 7pm. Don't we do that so we can start eating faster? And leave the restaurant sooner? Clearly not at this place.The noise level was atrocious and unrelenting, there was no sound proofing done in this place whatsoever. The chairs were uncomfortable (and we had to sit for almost 3 hours), and there was nowhere to hang our coats.The appetizers were good (when they finally arrived). The steak was not worth the money. The risotto was not cooked to risotto, and was instead just rice. The bread (that we finally got after sitting for 30 minutes) was burnt at the top, but also cold?I would not recommend this restaurant.

Been before, so No complaints. Very busy with various events taking place, but still very attentive and loved every bit. Will be returning again. My favourite Italian restaurant so far

When we arrived, we discovered that inside is all booked for a private function, so we had no choice but to sit outside, it was a very hot day. When booking there was nothing mentioned that the table would be outside. The service wasnt good, eventhough our waiter tried his best, but its was enough. We felt like uninvited guest in the place, very awkward. All the attention was to the parties... Wouldnt go there again.

I don’t recommend going to this restaurant on a special occasion such as Mother’s Day. Poor management could not handle the demanding number of customers. We had a reservation for 6pm and got there on time. We needed to wait 45 for our table. They wouldn’t sit us until our table had plates on. The table was empty for 20min until they started putting plates on it. When we finally sat down we asked to order right away and the waiter mentioned food will be ready in 30min. However it took over an hour. The table beside us got seated about 5min after us. They didn’t get menus and had to get up themselves to get the menus after waiting so long. Then nobody came to them to get their order. One of them complained to the manager but still no service. They ended up leaving the restaurant. That was a table of 10 and at least $600 lost revenue. When we finally got served our food it didn’t come all at once. Everyone but 2 got their meals. We had to wait another 15 min for them to get it. Everyone waited until they got their food before eating. Now the food was amazing. I just wish management was able to properly manage the restaurant. They were way over their heads. I suspect it would be better on a regular night with a small group of 4. Don’t come to this restaurant if you have a larger group (we had 11) on Mother’s Day.

Booked a table for 8 for mother’s day and we were not told it was buffet style. Everything was a mess and it was not worth $60/person. Tried their regular menu earlier and liked it.
