Stopped here for lunch as we heard it had good reviews. Food was excellent and our server, Sarah was very pleasant and efficient. Margaritas were also very good, however I hate it when they are served in a water glass full of ice!! Probably no more than two ounces of liquid . Three sips and my drink was gone. Then I ordered a sangria and the same thing...small water glass full of ice with about two ounces of sangria. I'd go again for the food, but order a beer instead. (Even though I love margaritas )
We loved our experience here! The atmosphere of the restaurant is super cool, although it’s a bit small in there, we didn’t mind. The staff was very nice and quick with our orders. The duck fat fries with banana ketchup are a must have!Tacos were great, lots of different choices for the mix & match option. Will definitely be returning
Amazing tacos. Amazing fries. Amazing churros. Super friendly staff. Will definitely come back again next time we are in Windsor.
Great trendy restaurant, excellent drinks , great tacos and wonderful service. My only complaint was the chips , which also effected the nacho plate. The load the chips with so much spice (not hot) , not sure if it’s chili powder or what it is, but the amount they put on is so overpowering that it ruined the dishes. We asked for chips without the spice and we’re told that it was not possible. Other than chips, all the food was amazing. The outdoor patio is very cute and it was a great experience!
Liked the ambiance a lot. The servers were very polite and the food was exceptional. Really liked the fries cooked in duck fat. The Barbacoa beef taco was also really good.
My daughter wanted to go here with family to celebrate her graduation. She’s vegan, others were vegetarian and the rest eat meat. There was something fabulous for everyone and the server was fantastic and friendly.
A fun night out for dinner and drinks. We were a group of eight. It seemed everyone was happy with the food and drink. The place has a cool look and is an asset to the neighbourhood. I would return again.
Been here a bunch of times before but this was our first visit eating outside of summertime. The location is small but the interior is cozy and unique. The food and drinks are phenomenal. We always get the fries with the duck fat and banana jam (it sounds weird, but it is delicious!) We have had their margaritas, sangria, mojitos and mules - all scrumptious! Their tacos are also wonderful - note that a corn tortilla isn’t a hard shell - it’s still a soft tortilla and oh so tasty! The food combinations go together so well. Lastly, we tried their churros with caramel sauce. I wasn’t that excited - I’m a big sweets girl but this was DROOL WORTHY. Crunchy, warm, doughy, just the right amount of sweetness! Stop by whenever but note if you visit the picnic area in summer it is bee central. They don’t bother me but if you’re frightened just play it safe and eat inside!
The service was Out. Of. This. World. Lynne (sp?) was knowledgeable, friendly and really fun. The food was delicious especially the taquitos and the churros. Goodness gracious do yourself a favour and check this magical place out
We visited the Grand Cantina today for an early lunch. Our server was excellent. I wanted a coffee(which they do not serve) and he was good with us grabbing one from a nearby coffee bar. The food menu was very limited IMO. My hubby went with the special of 3 chorizo tacos and I had the quesadilla. Both were tasty but the portions were small in comparison to other Mexican restaurants we have frequented. Been there, done that - no reason to return.
