My sister and I along with my niece and nephew had a late lunch after swimming at the water park near by on Wednesday, July 27th. Waitress is terrible.. She added 20% tip without my knowledge and charge $18.99 for only kid’s pizza.Waitress did not offer us what we would like to drink and I have to ask if they have drinks for kids. She returned with drinks and forgotten one, I thought she wrote them down too. I also ask for kid’s menu but she rather say them than bringing them to us so my niece and nephew has meal options. The restaurant is not busy, only two tables were occupied. I have to call the near by waitress that we are ready to order. Close to finishing our meal, the waitress asked if the bill is separate or together? I said, together. After two minutes she returned with the bill and asking me if I needed debit machine. I told her give us a few minutes. We were still eating not totally done with our meal yet. After, I reviewed our bill. Waitress added 20% tip without my knowledge and charged $18.99 for just a kid’s pizza with nothing on the side. I can’t justify how much was a kid’s pizza but I found it too overprice. We are finally done, still waiting for the waitress to return so I can pay the bill but she never returned to our table. I decided to go up to her counter and paid. I should of call for a supervisor or manager but we have to leave as the kids are getting tired.

We just wanted coffees so I can’t speak to the food. We stopped in mid afternoon and the server put on a fresh pot for us. She brought water right away. It’s a lovely patio and a nice, relaxing place to stop for a drink. Nice view of the skyline too!

We were seated pretty fast. We were allowed to bring our dog on the patio with us and they brought us a bowl of water for him, which was nice. However, we waited for nearly an hour for our food. The table next to us arrived after us, finished eating their food and left well before our food arrived. The server didn’t come by to check in on us or give us any update from the kitchen. We asked another server to check on our food. She didn’t even come back with an answer. When the food arrived it was tasteless and I immediately got a stomach ache after. We had Caesar salad with blackened chicken and chicken parm. They are pretty hard to ruin. And they were both terrible.Needless to say, we will not come back. It is not enough to have a place with a view. The view and food quality need some serious improving.

19$ for a turkey club and fries, the turkey was SO dry most of it was inedible. The “focaccia” bread was grocery store panini bread. There was such a small amount of sauce, more of it could have helped a little bit the dryness.I didn't eat most of my food and the server asked me if i wanted a box, so I told her it was too dry to eat. She offered me something else to eat and i said no. So paid 20$ for a not fresh, dry… dry… sandwich.Nice view and good fries, thats about all.

good food friendly staff awesome patio overlooking the Detroit River ?

We were in town on business and found the only restaurant right on the waterfront. The Bistro Grill has a patio with amazing views of the Waterfront, the huge Canadian flag and the Detriot skyline across the water. The wine bottles were very reasonable priced for the quality (we had a Joe's? Pinot grigio). The food was very good and fresh, we had the chicken lettuce wrap and the chicken snadwich. The best of all was the service: big kudos to Caryn who made our stay amazing, she was so attentive and sincerely friendly. We stayed longer than planned because of her excellent customer service.

Great outdoor patio along the riverfront. Had a tasty Greek Salad with two sizes offered. The other 3 friends ordered burgers which all enjoyed. Our waitress handled the whole patio, kept her cool and was very efficient.

Arrived at this beautiful waterfront hoping to have our morning coffee. It wasn’t open until 11:30, so we walked and enjoyed the riverfront while we waited. At opening, sat and asked for two coffees…”you’re not eating?” (In a rude tone) So, we politely asked her to cancel our order. We might well have decided to eat something later, 11:30 is early for lunch. This place in this location could be a gem. I’ll never return, sadly.

Awesome vibe....Billie is amazing server....Delicious food....
