Every time I have attended this location (and i do keep trying this new store) I have NOT received what I ordered. It seems they continue to struggle to obtain supplies for some of their basic drink menu items. As well, the staff need more training as there is a huge difference in customer service from this location versus the successful locations like the one at the Roundhouse.
My iced macchiato had a coffee bean in it and when I called to tell them the girl laughed at me and said “yeah that happens” like it was funny. Later to realize my milk was curdling aswell.. disgusting, and rude.
Without exaggeration ..the staff responsible for the drive-thru at my local NEW location, at Tecumseh W & Huron Church, are incredible, with their kindness & friendliness! I've never encountered such excellent, caring due-diligence at a drive-thru! As for the hot drink "Cinnamon Dolche Latte" and the accompanying "Cinnamon Coffee Cake" ..well, eye's roll backwards, from the devineness of these! It's 5 stars PLUS, in MY books!
Fantastic location. One of the best starbucks store i ever visited. New and clean. Quick energetic service.
horrible service. We planned a moms meet up there hoping to support the new location. We called ahead of time, and some of us even placed orders in advance. Each of us purchased something. We did our best to be respectful of the fact that we were a larger crowd (about 15 of us). there weren't enough seats outside so we asked to take some of the inside seats out, which we were told we could do. as soon as we got outside to sit down, the waitress came out asking when we would be leaving. when I asked her why in confusion, she said because they were worried there wouldn't be enough seats inside (note there were well over double the amount of empty seats inside). we were left confused and embarrassed. the entire situation was off putting. who asks paying customers who informed you a day in advance of their plans to meet at the location, when they will be leaving, before they even sit down. never going there again. I hope management talks to the employees about their attitude and behavior toward PAYING CUSTOMERS. note: it was a moms meet, we were not loud, did not make a mess, and were not rowdy. we were simply disrespected for no apparent reason.
Worst experience! We called ahead of time asking if there was seating for a large group they said they could accommodate us. After sitting outside for 10 minutes we were asked how long we were planning to stay for. There were people inside that were sitting there before we came and they never asked them, the same people sitting inside were still there after we left. Would never suggest this location ( the new one in university plaza) to anyone.

This is the first review, but I’m sure it’ll get better as this place just opened. It’s an improvement from the last location as you can actually order from the drive thru, however their credit card machine in the drive thru didn’t work, so you needed to go inside.Like I said, I’m sure it’s a new place glitch. We will try it again….it’s a food convenient location!
I have been going here almost daily for the past six years, and it’s definitely one of the best Starbucks locations in Windsor. The service is fast, your orders are always accurate, and the staff are helpful and friendly. I went last week, and a couple days later went again to find that the entire store was suddenly closed. All of the signage and menu boards were taken down without any notice. This was a surprise to me as I did not expect them to close, especially without any warning. I’m hoping they are just moving to another building around the area, and not closing the Huron Church location permanently.
Can get cheap double espresso on ice if you take good use of star dash or other promotions. Average is around $2 and only 5% tax. it' good!
