Let me start off by saying, I love all gyros. I eat it at least once a week from every restaurant in Windsor/Essex, without preference. When im hungry and I want to treat myself, I find the nearest gyro place.In my 30+ years of enjoying this savoury delight I have never had a meal like I did today! From the fries that were too hot to eat on the car ride, the salad that was so fresh that I didn't even have to use dressing, to a gyro that was absolutely delicious. Bravo boys and girls...wow am I am impressed....well done.
Food is good ! Says voted Windsor best gyro but it tastes like Windsor most meh gyro. Have had better gyro at other places in Windsor. Have hat their gyro multiple times and I’m always left disappointed . They barley put tzaziki sauce on it. If you want Windsor s TRUE best gyro try Greek pita on Wyandotte or donair house east. Way better.
Great food and a very clean location. The only problem we had was eating in the store it was very cold.
I had never heard of a Greek honey ball before. They are - amazing.I'm going to try to describe them, although I know my words won't be adequate.Fresh dough (and I swear they add in a hint of heavenly clouds!) - fried - covered with a topping of your choice and whipped topping. The texture is crunchy in the outside and soft inside. While they would be great by themselves - the topping make them amazing. 1 serving is enough for my family of 4.Even when they cool down they still taste amazing.
Always a great experience. We've never had a bad meal. We'll worth the value and no more than you would pay for fast food. The portions are massive.Employees are always friendly and it's a locally owned business (support local!)Parking is easy, however, getting into the lot takes a little finesse since it's at a major intersection. Still easy enough as long as you're careful.
I may be different from others in the world but i do not want some cook with bare hands grabbing tomatoes lettuce meat and other things and putting them on my sandwich. i dont care if he just washed them or not , wear gloves or use tools, i threw away all the food after watching this and then they have an option to tip up to 30 % , your just getting my food and putting it in a bag. heres a tip try using some hygene !

Soooo good. I didn't like gyros before because of the meat that most restaraunts use having an odd texture & flavor but sofos is delicious. My only complaint, if you can even call it a complaint, is that I can't ever finish even 1/2 of my meal because the portion size is gigantic.Definitley worth the drive across the city.
Best Greek food from their salads to the best ? gyros in Windsor. The sandwich can feed any hungry big guy. I, myself, takes me couple days to finish it. Plenty of meat. I mean it. Also I believe it's privately owned and the owner is the nicest guy and great customer service ? . I recommend it to anyone who is hungry for a gyros.
