Ordered ribs and salad ahead of time, and they prepared it exactly on time. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.Excellent quality of ribs! Superb texture on the ribs and the sauce was also on point. The side we ordered, beet salad, tasted quite fresh.
Smokies BBQ in Windsor is a hidden gem on somewhat not so buy area on Ottawa street. It was recommended to me by couple of friends to go try their food. So, I went there with my family on a Friday for dinner. Me and my daughter ordered the holy burger combo. My son ordered the rib steak burger combo and my wife ordered shorts ribs plate (2 pieces). By the way I had to call around noon to make sure they put the ribs aside. And finally a skewer of jerk chicken to try. We were told that the chicken takes about 30 minutes to be ready and the burgers and ribs should be done in about 20 minutes or so. We were excited to learn that they use charcoal grill to cook the food, but it gets really smoky in there. The burgers were slightly dry and the bun was nothing special. It tasted like a cheap off the shelf grocery store white bun. They dont serve ketchup or any other condiments with their burgers and you have to pay $1.25 for any tiny container of condiments you get, that did not make sense at all. That could be a deal breaker for some customers. I'm not a ribs guy, but my wife said they where delicious and I ended up trying a small piece and it was good. The kids rated their burgers an 8 and 9. Their customer service is amazing and when I told one of the owners my feedback, he was very open about it and said he will make it better for us next time. He offered us free drinks and was very hospitable. I would have give it 5 out 5 if it wasn't for the slightly over cooked patties and It was on us too that we did not tell them how we like it cooked. We have decided to go back soon to try their kebabs and other menu items.

Amazing Ribs. A must have. Their Rib-pulled sub is also tasty. The burgers are juicy and so flavourful. They use real wood for bbq so the smell and taste is amazing. The owners are very friendly.
Fantastic food. Had the beef ribs and Jerk chicken while my wife had the brisket sub - everything was awesome. I look forward to working my way through their menu!.
the Big Daddy burger is friggin huge...bring your appetite. very tasty...
