Best shawarma, period.Seriously the best shawarma I’ve ever had in my life. I live in Texas and every year I come to Windsor to visit family and am sure to stop here. This is better than anything I’ve had in US, Canada, and Middle East. The ingredients are fresh, chicken has tons of flavor and toasted bread is unbeatable. Owner is very friendly and has been running this spot for 22 years now.

This is one of the best shawarma places in Windsor for years. But the taste and experience all depends on who’s working. If the owner is working the taste is always great, otherwise can’t guarantee the consistency. It’s best you tell them exactly what you want to make sure your experience is always same.

It took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive. But it was one of the best shawarmas ever. Filling and absolutely delicious

Pros.Best shawarma place in windsor.Large portionsAmazing garlic sauce .Friendly services.Cons .Interior is dated and could use an update, however it doesn't effect the food.It took me forever to find the best Shawarma in town. Now I'm obsessed.

Disappointing experience. Got a shawarma plate - potatoes were okay but a bit salty, lentil rice was decent, chicken was ok but the garlic sauce, as others were saying, was basically mayo? Almost no garlic flavour. It was really a disappointing sauce as at other restaurants, it really elevates the flavour. Overall, it was okay but in Windsor with excellent middle eastern restaurants literally everywhere? Just a bit down the street is Miss Shawarma Plus which I highly recommend and of course Shawarma Palace is on Ouellette, as well. You can definitely find better middle eastern then this.

Had Chicken “shawarma”. Ordered via DoorDash. It was shawarma like I am the queen of England. It was dry. It was made by someone who has no basic idea of how ingredients respond to heat. It was full of breast meat. Breast meat alone is not what’s used in real shawarma. Dark meat is interspersed with breast meat. Dark meat brings the flavour and moisture while breast meat brings the volume to the dish. Any cook worth his salt would know that basic composition when marinating and setting up the spit. Another disappointment was the salad. Usually there is plenty of vegetables to balance the meat. Don’t even get me started on the rice. As a life long rice eater, I wouldn’t serve that if my life depended on it. Having had shawarma on three continents, I must say this was the saddest example of a truly tasty street eat. Sorry, can’t get myself to say anything else because that would be untrue.

I got the chicken shawarma plate and the chicken was absolutely disgusting!!!! Potatoes were burnt and the garlic sauce tasted like a salad dressing. Don’t get shawarma from here.
