What a disappointment they quit carrying cod for good Friday only for the rich
My family and I have been going to Pat and Hanks for over 40 years. It is often a family favorite for birthday dinners. We ordered to go for my husband's birthday yesterday and was shocked to see how small the fish portion was. We had ordered full dinners, What we received was a piece of halibut about 2 1/2 inches square and about a half inch thick. The price for three meals? $82.I called the restaurant and spoke to the person in charge who was quite nice and friendly. She offered me 10 percent off my next order. When I said that didn't make up the difference she went to 50 percent. What I really wanted was the same size portions we have always enjoyed, even if the price is higher to match the Covid price increases. This fish was so thin it was dried out when cooked.I don't think we'll be going back.

Normally this is a good spot however the shrimp in the basket I had last week was below their standard
A bunch of young girls gossiping and goofing around instead of doing their job. Got my order wrong again and they. could have cared less when I had to drive all the way back there cause they wouldn't refund the missing dinners back to my visa over the phone..Hire better workers or manage ur store properly
Stopped at Pat and Hanks Fish and Chips in Tecumseh on December 23, 2021 and ordered the Family Halibut Dinner package to go and were very pleased with the way it was cooked.
I ordered the halibut dinner for $22, and the 2 piece haddock for $14. I kid you not, the halibut was smaller than the size of my fist and the other piece was a little bigger than a chicken nugget. I sent a photo in and asked if it was a mistake, but didn’t get a response so here I am! Buyer beware. If you want a nice piece of halibut, try the Kildare! It’s the size of your face.
Ordered take out. 3pc Cod and Shrimp dinner. Was told it would be ready in an hour. Had to wait an extra 20 mins which was no problem but the meals were not hot at all specially fries . Food tasted great but would of liked it hot Next time will dine in to see the difference.
The chips were french fries not actually lays or doritos chips
Good meal. Halibut was cooked well and served quickly. Nice amount of batter. Downside- rather small serving for price also a bit inconsistent in sizing.In our 2 servings the second piece was 1 finger sized in one and 2 1/2 finger sized in other.Still worth the drive though and I'm happy to support small business
