Everything ive had here is delicious and well prepared. Fish n chips is way better than Kildare. Flatbreads are amazing. The short ribs are by far my favourite. Anyone complaining about prices doesn’t enjoy quality food.
We went there with our ball team. Food wasn't too bad, but it was $17 for a cheeseburger and fries plus $2.00 for gravy. I understand an extra charge for gravy, but they can make a whole pot of gravy for $2.00. I also didn't like them taking on the 18% tip automatically. Let me choose my tip based on service.....this was their 2nd and probably last chance with our team.
Whenever I order food they are always missing items or ingredients. This time no red pickled onion and pea shoots in my sandwich. Very disappointed.
The nachos were delicious, they used kalamata olives and pickled onions - which is unlike any place in the city. They were so flavourful. The entrees weren't too great, a bit soggy unfortunately (we had the chicken sandwich and grilled cheese). The atmosphere is nice and the board games makes it a unique place to hang out!
Deanna served my boyfriend and I tonight. 10/10 for her service. She was so pleasant and friendly. Food was delicious, and came out fast. The drinks that we got were also very tasty.Would recommend strictly for Deannas positive and friendly attitude :)
Not what is was. We live 2 blocks away and have been happily enjoying going ever since renovations. Until our last visit. We were seated. Orders taken promptly but that was end of prompt. Drinks took 20 minutes. After 45 minutes no sign of server Lauryn. Finally flagged her down she was annoyed and just stated it was busy. Table beside us seated 25 minutes AFTER us had received aps and dinner. We were told small orders go out first. When pressed she said our order would be 5 minutes longer. No offer to refill drinks. Food came out cold. Request for more drinks forgotten. She never returned to check on food and had to be asked 3 times for takeout boxSadly disappointed in what used to be good food and excellent service. We had out of town guests and were embarrassed by service. We often have come with guests but never again!
I ordered the beef dip and after over 1 hr of waiting was pretty disappointed with what I received. The sandwich didn't look anything like the picture on their Facebook, but I unfortunately didn't take a picture. The beer selection is pretty good with some local brews. Our service was disappointing, but they did say it was their busiest day in over 2 years. The food was acceptable but I've had better beef dips down the road. They don't serve it au jus, but rather with the same gravy they use for their poutine. Their fries are pretty standard bar fries.I like the board games and stuff. They have a good selection of tv available. They do an 18% tip on parties over 6, which is fine, but they ask for a tip on the final bill too. Without telling customers. We were charged for a drink we didn't order and didn't get a refund because the waitress was difficult about it. Also $11 for a highball is atrocious. All things considered I would not return, or even order from them on Skip again. Our party of 10 all agreed that it was a pretty bad experience.
There flyer on top right say take out …when you call they told you it’s dine in only …can’t go with kids to eat that place …so they have to figure out how to advertise
If you're here for a good time at a pub with spectacular and timely service with your buddies, great. Enjoy! If you expect edible food, I don't know, it's a miss for us. How can we enjoy a good time if I can't chew through the dried wings that looked like they were frozen, fried, then sat around for a few hours, then reheated?Soggy exterior, chewy interior. I wish I was joking but 7/11 wings and frozen grocery store wings are doubly crispier and juicier. The nachos were cold and solid dry by the time it got to us (which wasn't a long wait). So what happened? Were they made an hour ago and left sitting for the next order or overbaked or what? Please taste your own food chefs.
WARNING! Do no eat here if you want an edible meal. ZERO STARS! How does a so called bar manage to royally screw up nachos and wings?? Wings were soggy and cold and nachos were dry as cardboard. Asked for sour cream and salsa to help swallow the nachos and was told they only have pico which was an up charge. Btw the nachos were $23 plus $4 for sour cream and a little cup of diced tomatoes. Literally the worst plate of nachos I’ve ever had. Wings were $30 for 2 lbs of cooked yesterday and reheated in the microwave wings. Stay away from this place!!
