Such a great value for delicious sushi! Always a favourite.
Niko is my absolute favorite sushi spot. The nigiri and sashimi are the best in the city, and always so fresh and clean tasting. Niko sauce is addictive, and the crab Rangoon is so delicious. Veggie San is my favorite Maki roll!
Have no complaints about the sushi. When you call, the person doesn't say "Niko sushi can I help you?"' They often say "hello" Unlike the Niko at the mall, the women servers are dressed like Mac cosmetics employees. They don't act the least bit pleasant and have their arms crossed looking angry. They don't say thanks for coming. They have an abundance of bad attitude and the owner needs to stress how important customer service is. My daughter orders at least once a week.
My sister and I decided on sushi 2 days before we went to get it. We showed up at about 20 to 9, they close at 930. Good timing, barely anyone there...We are seated, wait for the waitress then order an app and drinks, get the app and drinks and put our sushi order in.A lot of time goes by... Every other customer is gone, it's just us left. Workers keep walking halfway out from behind the counter, look at us, then walk back behind. One girl who decided chewing on chopsticks was appropriate to do while working wanders out, gives us a dirty look, then wanders back behind the counter. It's now 915, still no sushi. The hostess (I'm assuming) starts cleaning all the tables and sweeping... So I called her over and asked if they forgot about us. She goes to check and says "they're just finishing it now!"3 seconds later it's coming out. So cold. The rolls that were supposed to be fully deep fried were cold as if they'd been forgotten. No impressed at all. Won't be back for eat in. I'd rather go to the Devonshire location, they're fast and always fresh.
We really like going there, they have good sushi. The service is really good and options to sit outside during nice warm weather. The place eis really nice.
Went for dinner may 27th 2022, we were seated and watched tables that came in after us get service, servers continuously walk past us while we’re trying to get their attention for over 20 minutes (there were 5 working) . After that the server who we did get her attention forgot to punch in 1/2 the food that we ordered. I’ve gone here for years and I have never been this disappointed quite honestly visiting ANY restaurant.
Always love niko sushi, they have great sushi and they have some good desserts
First time and loved everything we ordered. New favorite place to eat!! Definitely go again and recommend!!
What an awful customer service. I guess this restaurant has never heard the phrase “customer is always right”. I called in an order for my daughter’s bday and specified: no meat, no fish & NO dairy, as she’s allergic. I picked up and when I got home I realized more than 1/2 of the rolls had cream cheese in them. When I called back about it, the person that answered the phone argued with me that “you never said no dairy”. I advised I did as she is allergic and don’t feel like making a trip to the hospital. She then said she will confirm with the person that took my order and put me on hold for what seemed like 5 min. When she came back on, she said “nope, you never said NO dairy. Only no fish &no meat”. I lost my cool and hung up. My husband called right back and spoke with the manager, Sue, who offered to replace the order. We ordered the replacement tonight and when I went to pick it up, I was told that we were never told they would replace our order but give us 50% off since only 2 out of 4 rolls had cream cheese. I said that was not the case and wanted to speak with Sue. Conveniently, Sue is on vacation and cannot be reached. The manager taking over for Sue also cannot be reached because nobody has his phone number (really? What kind of manager is he?). I asked why I wasn’t called as soon as they knew I was only getting 50% off and not full order replacement, before making the order up. And she said “because you were coming in anyway”. I did not agree to 50% off. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I do not recommend this place and will never be back. There is other sushi places out there with much stellar service. ?????
I had Niko for the first time last week and have thought about it every day since. My tongue longs to be united with their delicious sushi once again. My new fav sushi place!!
