The taste quality seems to have been in a decline. This used to be the best Fried Chicken spot in town in my humble opinion. This is the second time that the after taste of old oil really stands out. There is a certain amount of times that you can re-use the oil for frying; and the one we had today was way past and the chicken was dark to the point of almost burnt. It looks like the diner is cutting down the cooking oil cost but at the expense of quality. It appears like we will be starting to look somewhere else when we crave for fried chicken. Such a disappointment.
I have been a regular at Michigan diner in tecumseh for a long time. Through the covid season I have supported this business through takeout. However now that we are back in the restaurant, I will be switching my preferred location to lauzon and tecumseh.I ordered the same thing as I have always gotten in the past, and learned today that they are now charging an additional dollar for diner browns instead of fries. My children got two kid dinners. I was told by the waitress that their meal did not come with a drink or dessert. I understand times are tough, but these charges determines if I can support you once a month or once every other week. So far the other locations haven't made these changes so I will be going there.
Excellent home-style meals. I has meatloaf and mashed potatoes... real potato, not flakes. Pecan pie for dessert. Reminded me of mom's cooking.Very friendly, quick service.
Ordered from the Michigan Diner for the first time tonight. I called earlier this week about a catering order. The woman I talked to on the phone was very nice and helpful. They called the morning of to confirm. Food was delivered and arrived exactly on time and piping hot. It was delicious. The chicken was fantastic, pasta and salad was wonderful as well. Will absolutely use to cater family events again. Thank you, thank you.

I was not happy with the b.f. food the Canadian bacon did not smell and taste normal. The waitress so so kind and did a great job . ?
The broasted chicken is always great! Love It so much I haven't tried many other things on their huge menu.Why mess with perfection?
Waitress was lovely. But this is the 3rd time in a row that we have eaten at this location and wanted to send the food back. The only reason we keep eating here is the gift certificate we get from our neighbor at Christmas. Never would I ever recommend to anyone to eat at a Michigan Diner. Please change the oil in your deep fryers, the taste is beyond apparent. Onion rings were so extremely old that they were starting to get hard and the burger was nothing more then a frozen pattie from food basics. This place used to be good, and why on earth was the air conditioning on in minus 3 weather in Jan? Ugh take out or dine in, save your money and go somewhere else

Food had absolutely no flavor, asked for over easy eggs and 2/3 were broken. And when I was brought the wrong potatoes I was given attitude. Horrible dining experience. Stay home and make your own
