Went through the drive thru at 1:20, whoever took our order on headset was miserable and totally messed up our order. We ordered 2 McDoubles, 2 McChickens a Big Mac and a medium fry.. we received 1 McDouble 1 mcchiken and a fry. Order taker was so rude and snooty, should not be dealing with customers. Literally pushed our food at us and gave no greeting and slammed the window.
I am using my wife’s account here as I rarely leave reviews but I had to share this. Last evening, Sunday July 3rd 2022 I picked up my daughter at metro airport and decided to stop at the McDonald’s near the foot of the ambassador bridge for a bathroom break and a burger for the road . My daughter had a double cheeseburger and I only ordered a cheeseburger and soda. I was watching the guy prepping orders as it was a clear sight line to him. He pulled a burger from the plastic tray using tongs which was nice to see but then he dropped patty on counter. He grabbed wrapped burger barehanded, unwrapped it and grabbed the patty with his hands and plopped it down on the bun. This next thing puzzled me. He grabbed another burger from the tray, barehanded this time, put the patty on the other piece of bun then wiped off the work station with his hand. He proceeded to pick the first patty off the bun and tossed it somewhere then grabbed the second patty and placed it on the other part of bun. When the woman at the cash handed the bag to me I told her that I saw the guy using bare hands to play around with the prep and she replied,” we wash our hands a lot.” Many points here. The man wasn’t wearing gloves, wiped the counter with his hands then touched my burger, no gloves, gave me a burger bun that had already been wrapped then replaced the meat and served it to me, the man was the body type where he was heavily bearded,(type that has thick whiskers and big mustache) but had NO netting on long hair and facial hair., wasn’t wearing gloves and readily handled the meat patty. We proceeded to the car and after thinking about what could be on my burger I tossed it. Due to this unsanitary restaurant, I will never eat at another McDonald’s. Maybe McDonald’s management hasn’t heard, but we’ve been fighting a pandemic the past few years and this gross display of food hygiene puts everyone at risk. What a disgusting display of hygiene. I will shout from the highest rooftops that this place is unsafe and disgusting. Dave Lidster
Quick service and the best part they do stay open till late. It was so nice to grabbed quick bite at late night after crossing border from Detroit. Kodos to the staff ??????
Crew Member was so rude at drive-thru, I felt like MacD should work on there employees. Even she didn't accept my order and I have to go from there empty handed. I can understand it's midnight and they work hard, but it didn't mean that they just show there arrogance and rude behavior to there customers.
Please train your staff better. One of the main principles of McDonalds is consistency. I didn’t receive dipping sauce with my nuggets after asking for some, the fruitopia is very watered down, no straws were given, and the side of my cup has the juice spilt all over it. Employees didn’t care to wipe it off. That takes 10 seconds. Hire employees that actually want to be there instead of people serving MID food and drinks every time
If warm burgers and stale buns are you thing this place is for you. No reasons for stale food at a restaurant as busy as this one. Order was 90 percent right.
Very bad experiences! Every 1 out of 5 they messed up my order. I really mad this time cuz I asked for 1 double burger, 20 nuggets and a combo cost me 34$ something. After I got the meal, I found that is the single petty burger and only 10 nuggets. I drive back and they cost me 10$ more for the nuggets but give me a double burger for free. The manager told me that the employee can hear my order clearly, but this employee needs to handle other people's orders at the same time, what's it to me? I paid a few dollars more for their mistake. Since I always have this problem, I did the check after I got the meal. The last time it happened just 3 weeks ago, it was only when I arrived home that I noticed this and by the time I got home after returning to this McDonald's to get my already paid for meal, the fries had lost their taste. Couldn't McDonald's recruit some employees with multi-task skills?
Liz in an amazing employee. I always come here for pick ups which are mostly handled by her mainoy during the evening time, she does her job with a lot of passion and I never have to worry about my food being delayed while she's handling the order!! She definitely deserve a raise and more hours at this location!!
I'd rather starve than eat at McDonalds Disgusting company refusing service to peaceful protesters. Tragic
I ordered through drive-thru with a coupon for large fries for 1+ tax. Unfortunately, it was 10am, and they don't do fries that early; it was fine, understandable. I got to the first window, and they said if I don't mind waiting, I can get my fries with the coupon price. I love that they went beyond!
