Went there to celebrate a friend’s birthday, this was my first time dining in, usually we do takeout. The food was beyond delicious and the service exceeded expectation. Thank you Angelique for the wonderful service, very professional. We will definitely be returning. Great playlist!!
Wanted to express my sincere appreciation to Jordan and Nick for going over and above in terms of customer service and satisfaction!! I contacted Jordan to ask if he would be willing to make sushi platters for my daughters baby shower outside of their regular store hours (because she LOVES their sushi!). He responded immediately that he would absolutely accommodate my request and come in early himself to ensure the platters were ready. The sushi platters were a huge success - not just delicious but a beautiful display!! I would recommend Kona's food for any event and will continue to support this incredible local business!
Went here for the curb side all you can eat tonight. The staff was very nice. We were the first to arrive for our time slot. We called first and were served last. It took 45 mins for our food to come out and when it did we were missing 2 items and had to remind them that we had ordered them. The 2 other cars there at the same time were served 4 times each while we were only served twice.I felt bad for the workers who were bringing stuff to us in the parking lot. They were wearing all black and it was dark out. I watched them almost get hit multiple times. I told one of the workers that I felt as if they should be wearing high visibility vests.Not the restaurants fault but the parking lot is very chaotic. I watched someone back into the wall of the building next to the restaurant and had 2 people almost back into my car.I love Kona sushi but this experience was just not great and I will be waiting until they open back up for indoor dining to order from them again.
Curbside all you can eat is a must try!! Nice staff, always awesome sushi, sashimi included in all you can eat, great value and it is always our favorite place to go.
I loved going to dine in at the Lasalle location after class. The food is made fresh and comes quickly! The reasonable prices and large portions got me hooked. The amazing taste keeps me coming back. I’m not an experienced raw fish eater, but I’ve enjoyed both real sushi and the other options.
We tried Kona Sushi all you can eat drive thru. It was a very good experience in this Pandemic situation. A way to eat outside with a group of friends being safe from our own cars!! It also allows you to have your doggy friends with u! The waitress was very nice and the service was great :) (even when we made mistakes ordering). Thanks!
We were able to celebrate our 10th anniversary last week! Since I only had one dose of the vaccine, I messaged them on IG if they would do curbside AYCE sushi for us. The owner, Nick was so accommodating and friendly. The food was SO good and the staff were friendly. Highly recommended!! Hopefully, I can go inside soon!
Very tasty sushi! Ordered takeout: sashimi, tuna roll, envy, normandy, and samurai. Everything was fresh and the rice was cooked perfectly. Order was accurate with all sides - heads up, the wasabi is super strong! The staff was very friendly at checkout. We will order from here again.
Great place, fresh food, excellent price, awesome customer service, Alexis is on point. While busy the chef still notice and proactively helps. Definitely needs to try. Don't forget the rolls are great. Salmon chips ♥
Food was soggy and sushi rolls felt sticky and wet. Disgusting . I keep ordering from here thinking it may be good but it’s honestly never good. Waste of money
