I ordered the tempura California and green monster rolls. They were very good, their sauce is very good!
Always good food and they had already consulted with a dr to figure out what a pregnant woman can and can’t eat so that was very helpful for my wife. Small inside so allows for a good meet spot for a few people.
Outstanding food. The manager was super friendly and honest, recommended some shared plates for our group and I had one of the best meals in Windsor. Those guys are masters of the grill!
I completely love this place. Food is an experience so yummy. The staff is just so helpful friendly and kind. Every time we have been here we both just relax enjoy and emerge in the experience.
We ordered here for the first time last night. Considering we only ordered rolls and chicken teriyaki for takeout, I found the $80 total expensive as there was no sashimi or sushi included. The California and rainbow rolls used imitation crab meat for the middle which was pretty under whelming. The online ordering, speed and accuracy of the order were top notch. For value and quality there are better options out there.
The absolute worst service I have ever had! We were a group of 6 girls, ordered all you can eat. The chef/owner was very rude, he seemed to think it was ok to put the remainder of our sushi order on hold without notifying us. He claimed that because there was a few pieces of sushi remaining on the table that we needed to finish before proceeding with the rest of our order. We asked for separate bills and they were all incorrect. Not only was this a terrible service, I never felt so rushed out of a restaurant. What a disappointment. I don't normally write reviews but I just had to share this for others to read. There are SO many other sushi restaurants in Windsor. DO NOT GO HERE! AWFUL
Excellent food and always ready so fast. As a very satisfied take out customer, I won't go anywhere else. Highly recommend Koi Sushi in LaSalle. If not a seafood customer, they have plenty of other vegetable based options on their menu! Best vegetable egg rolls ever!!
First time ordering here. I got the rainbow, shrimp tempura and salmon rolls and some gyoza. It did not disappoint. Not sure what that sauce it came with was. Didn’t quite taste like the usual yum yum sauce. Will surely return to try the other rolls. The portions were great and I surely got my much needed sushi fix.
First time all-you-can-eat customer. The sashimi was fantastic. Very fresh and large slices. However, we quickly found that charging extra for premium items, on top of a $27 base fee (which I know is low), was a disincentive to trying out some of your best items and made for a more bland experience. I know this would not apply to everyone, but I would have rather paid a higher fee and not have to think about cost again while eating/ordering.Portion sizes seem all over the place. Specialty and 'premium' specialty rolls are both listed at 8-10 pieces. Dragon is 2-3x the size of Firecracker. When that roll came out, inevitably later in the night as it's very elaborate, we knew we had over-ordered. Taking home sushi as leftovers doesn't sit well with me and neither does wasting food. Oh well, our mistake, but the menu didn't make it an easier to order responsibly.Otherwise, great service, even on a fully packed weekend night. The wait staff were very nice, it was easy to ask for anything, and the food came out super quick. Might have been a better experience if we ordered a la carte.
Always get take-out and never have any issues. I'm not a fish person so I get the vegetarian rolls or anything chicken. Very delicious. Just wish they included a few more sauces
