This restaurant is fantastic and the owner is amazing.
Food was amazing and service was even better!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Fed a family of four at a reasonable price and had left overs for the next day.
Ordered 6 shawarma here, in spite of being busy they managed to get my order quickly, however its was so disappointing that the chicken inside was not from an actual shawarma but instead they chopped some chicken kebab or Tikka meat and filled it in.I regret that I wasted my time and money by ordering at this location.
I waited 30 minutes for them to make 2 shawarmas and a salad. All while 3 employees simply stood in the visible kitchen doing nothing. The staff was rude, and the food is mediocre at best. They also gave no utensils. Yet they expect a tip- laughable.
I have been going to this Kabobgy location since it opened. I hadn't been for quite some time but decided to order take out as we had friends over. Here's the bottom line - prices have increased substantial, portion sizing has been reduced and service is non-existent, I went on line reviewed the menu and called to order a Kabob platter. I go to pick it up and I was the only person there. The first thing I noticed was that the dining tables have been removed and replaced with couches??? I ask the lady serving me if they offered restaurant dining and she said no they no longer do that. I paid for my order and was struck that the price had increased by at least 20%. I was handed the tray and the next thing I noticed is that the tray containing the hot food was significantly smaller...hmmm, I get home and unpack the order only to find that they neglected to pack certain condiments (Garlic sauce and salad dressing). In addition the actual food portions were much smaller than previous. I called the restaurant immediately but no one answered. The voice message said they were open til 8:30 pm and given that it was only 7:30 I decide to rush back ( they are about 5 min away.) When I get to the restaurant the door is locked - yet I can see staff inside. I knock but no one will answer. I get it - COVID has been a horrible time for the small restaurant owners. I know this because I am a partner in two venues. But please, increasing prices, reducing operating costs by reducing staff, cutting portion sizes and giving crappy service is not the way to be successful. Sorry never going back.
Absolutely the best food in town! Always large portions, always excellent quality! The owner is very friendly, and often remembers us when we order, and adds in little extras for our family!! We are long time customers and will always support this business!Food is fresh, flavourful, and enjoyed by all!
Ordered 6 lunches for colleagues for a specified pick up time. Arrived and food was not ready. After close to 5 minutes, I was presented a tray and bag with everyone’s items combined. I asked for them to be separated out, which they did. Once I got back to the office, I was told the restaurant called and they missed one order completely. They offered to deliver it. After waiting over 20 minutes, the lunch arrived soggy and cold. Not sure what has happened with this location, however changes need to be made to sustain lunch business.
Great food, good service and plenty of flavours. Will definitely be going again and again.
Ordered food to pickup. When I went to get it I was told that the prices go up on weekends by a dollar. So now I had to pay a few dollars more. No mention of this on their website. This is deceptive and wrong. Won't be going back.
