The folks who own Heimat, have made a SOLID commitment to being one of the best places in Windsor. Not only is the food GREAT, but the improvements , such as new outdoor chairs, heaters…even new WINDOWS on their building, are SO obvious. There was a 3 pc., band playing traditional music…that was not loud enough to drown out patrons conversations. Beer selections are wonderful..and the “ sauerkraut balls”, are killer! Make your reservation….looks like they’ll do tables for 8, 10, even 12 guests! We were a table of 6…what a great evening! ❤️

Visited the patio for my friend's Birthday and it was a very enjoyable experience. The Octoberfest beer was lovely and fresh, the pretzels were warm and sumptuous. All who came had a great time. I would highly recommend this venue for all occasions.
We were only had drinks but this is a fun place!! Great service & very friendly. The food looked fantastic & we will definitely go back another time & order some food.
Best kept secret on the east side. Great patio, cold beer, friendly service and the food was out of this world. Has live authentic music certain days. Definitely recommend

Excellent food! Ordered for the first time tonight- felt like I was back in Oma’s kitchen. Already looking forward to our next dinner from Heimat!
We were in town moving our daughter at the University. We felt like something that we don't usually eat. Somehow we came up with schnitzel. We searched and found Heimart. We were not disappointed! It was a generous amount, hot and fresh. The breading was thin and crispy, we will back next time we're in town.
Great patio--one of Windsor's best. They've really gone all out to make this into a genuine German Biergarten. Try the curry wurst, a staple German street food, which sounds strange until you taste it. Recently tried the schnitzel, which was first rate. Make sure you have a Weissbier. Great little gem on a path less traveled.
Great home cooked meal!!! We tried Heimat’s for the first time yesterday. We ordered the family meal deal. We had pork and chicken schnitzel, salad, spatzle, and fries, and for dessert apple blossoms and to-die-for caramel beer cheesecake? Potions were healthy and the service was friendly. Definitely going back??
