I have always loved the food at Healthy Mama - it is really delicious! However, service is hit or miss. I recently went for lunch with my sister, and the service was not great. They never brought the water we asked for, gave us one napkin (total) for two people, and one of the employees in particular seemed quite miserable. I fully understand that people have bad days sometimes, but this unfortunately wasn't my first time experiencing poor service here. I will return for the amazing food, but it would be nice if service could be improved!
Everything I have had on the menu has been absolutely delicious. Their Caesar salad dressing has to be my favourite. Definitely recommend!
This restaurant is adorable! The patio out front is perfect and the wait staff was friendly and fun! The food was the selling point for me - wow - amazing! So many different options and so delicious! I’ll be bringing my friends over there for them to try it asap. Also make sure to try the desserts!
I have had a great experience each time I have come. I love the fresh taste of food and the healthy options. The smoothies are some of my favourite. I always take time to check out the store side as well for unique items to take home.
Wow!!! The food was sooo good! I went with three other people - we all shared different dishes and everything was delicious. SoHealthy and fresh! I had no idea that vegan food could taste this good!
Beautiful restaurant with helpful, friendly and fun staff! The patio was cozy and adorable and the food was amazing! So many different options and the flavour was impressive. The desserts were also a fave! I will definitely be taking my friends here a lot for our lunch dates!
Extremely disappointed with the service today. We went to get smoothies (more than 45 mins before closing!) and the 2 front staff rudely acknowledged us and made many comments about how it was close to closing time (yet there was still over 45 mins!). We just wanted 2 smoothies and they said it would take over 30 minutes. The restaurant was not even busy at this time. I know what it's like to work at a restaurant and have people come in close to closing time, however, this is ridiculous. Needless to say we did not get our smoothies because of how rude the staff were. We have encountered rude staff during previous visits here as well. Unfortunately, you just lost 5 customers who have been coming here for years. Carrots and Dates now has 100% of our business because their service is amazing and their food is delicious.Side note: Healthy Mama's smoothies now cost over $10 for a tiny portion (which is insane)!*as per owner's reply: it was not the time that was the issue - we would have waited for the smoothies. It was the rude staff that influenced our decision to leave.

Waitress ignored my daughter and I for an hour, she was on her phone the entire time…there was only one other occupied table at the time, after an hour she told us our order didn’t go through the system and she needed our order again…I was shocked…she offered us free dessert…we go up to pick out the dessert and she says, from the bottom row only…a $3 chocolate ball…not the $7 desserts. What a complete insult! I’m putting this complaint here, because I know management won’t see it otherwise.
I recently visited this restaurant with much anticipation and I was thoroughly disappointed. The location is great and the decor and seating arrangements are top-notch. Our ordered food and drink items were: Ultimate beyond burger, Melty mushroom Panini, Soup of the day, Walkerville craft cider, and Oxley estate red wine The food was awful and tasted poorly prepared unfrozen meal. The wine was of the same poor quality. My friend who is not a vegan commented how can you be a vegan if vegan food tastes like this. The only positive thing was they sold some good vegan cheeses and vegan butter. How can they sell and survive selling poor quality awefull foof !!!
