Spectacular view of the Detroit skyline! Nice place for a drink if you donât mind sitting in a brightly lit bar. The food is highly overrated. I donât recommend and wouldnât eat here again. Ordered the Waldorf Wedge salad - awful, they offered additional dressing, which helped but still not great. Chose the Lobster Gundi for Main - the lobster was poached perfectly (Iâll give them that) but the gnocchi was tough & dry - like chewing on eraser heads instead of the âlittle pillows of heavenâ they should have been. My husband enjoyed the Ceasar salad & steak he added to their Truffle & Mushroom Lagettelle, but passed on eating most of his pasta. Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert - the pudding was good, but embellishments were wayyyy tooo sweeet. Given the view and the fact that we did enjoy half of our meal, I think a 3 start rating is fair. BTW - if youâve never been and want to take your chances, make sure when making Dinner reservations that you specify you want a table in the Dinning room. Crazy, right? If you donât specify, they may seat you in that brightly lit bar - not exactly the best atmosphere for a romantic dinner. Did not receive reimbursement for parking, as stated we would be.
Amazing views and incredible service! All nine of us enjoyed our meal selections! Martinis were superb too!
The steak was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. My wide really enjoyed the lobster also.
The best dinner we have ever had! We ordered the Seafood Tower and it was incredible! The view over the Detroit River as the sun was setting was gorgeous. Our server Sean was amazing and totally made our night. I would definitely recommend Fourteen to anyone looking for a fancy dinner for a special occasion. The decor is so beautiful and the layout of the restaurant really makes the most of the view.
Overall a great experience. The service and view cannot be beat.

This was our first visit to Fourteen. We had our anniversary dinner here. The food was delicious and portions were generous. There was a wide vat of wine, beer and cocktails to choose from. We really enjoyed our meal.
