Delicious food and amazing staff! The bakery items are insanely delicious. Gluten free sourdough is a staple in our home and I don’t even have words to describe the carrot cake—you’ve just gotta try it! So grateful Carrots n Dates is part of our community!
I was really looking forward to a good plant based meal, but I was disappointed.First, it was a hot day and no water was provided, but other tables were given water...?I had the Tofu & Potato hash. The tofu scramble was barely warm on the outside, stone cold on the inside. I had it returned and it was better, but then the potato hash was now barely warm. Not to wait further I ate the food as it seemed there were unresolved issues in the kitchen.The tofu scramble was very very plain, no flavor whatsoever, not even any salt! It was like I was eating plain crumbled tofu. Actually this tofu scramble was the worst I've had. Only 1 slice of toast was given and it was hardly warm too. Why not 2 slices? No spread for the toast was offered.They have good baked goods. I got a Chocolate berry muffin and it was good, although not enough berries. I'd return for sure for their baked goods, they had a great selection. When I'm back in Windsor again I'd go back to give them another chance. Perhaps they will resolve the kitchen and service issues...

I had the Southwest Wrap. It was delicious! So much flavor. Chocolate cheese cake for dessert was also great. Most items here are vegan. My non-vegan wife really enjoyed her meal as well.
Such amazing, unique food. I love the atmosphere. It’s beautifully decorated and the service is great. Really nice selection of food to choose from. Oh and the desserts…..WOW!!
The food is great I have been gluten free for four years. I haven't eaten anything that good for so long and I truly wish that other people would open resterants or dining bars like carrots n dates. (Review provided by my 9 year old daughter)

Carrots n' Dates is amazing!! ✨?Had inquired yesterday if their Pad Thai was soy free (I nurse my 4 month old who has dairy & soy allergies/intolerances) and they let me know it did contain organic tamari. Not a problem - thanked them for their response and went about the rest of my day. This morning I received a voice message from the owner saying that she trained all her staff on how to create a completely soy free Pad Thai (?) and that anytime I wanted to order one, I could!! How sweet and thoughtful is that?! She also mentioned that they could accommodate any allergy and recreate their dishes if they’re given enough notice. Such an amazing business ?
A treat for vegan lovers…!! They have very innovative recipes. Ambiance is welcoming and staff is friendly. I would love to go go back.
the falafel wrap is excellent, so tasty and filling. Sometimes get it with the longevity salad, recently got the caesar salad. A very healthy portion of salad. Well worth it, try it you might like it!
