AJI SUSHI is truly a gem for Korean and Japanese cuisine in Windsor. I went there and was pleasantly surprised with the dishes we ordered. Being in South Korea many times before, I'm pretty familiar with a lot of the food and this restaurant easily compares to some of the places I've visited in Seoul and Busan. Portions are also quite generous as a single main dish should be enough to fill up the average person and may even leave you with enough for leftovers for later. In terms of food, my only complaint would be that the kimchi is too sweet, but I imagine that's fine for the average person.The main chef (who I assume is the owner as well) was also very kind. We talked briefly but it was clear he had experience in his work. Overall though, I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. Support your local business and enjoy great food!
I ordered 16 pieces of cucumber rolls, 8 pieces of salmon rolls, 8 pieces of tempura California rolls, and the Rainbow Specialty roll.All of it was absolutely delicious ?The salmon roll was well balanced, you could taste the salmon whole the cucumber gave it freshness, the tempura California roll had a nice crisp that gave it a wonderful sound when biting into while still being moist on the inside.The Rainbow roll was by far the BEST part of my meal though, each part of the roll is a different fish, some rolls were even two fish, and holy Jesus it was like watching a performance at an aquarium, each part of the roll was a new experience, while being backed by the cucumber and crab.Best part of this was that this wasn't even a dine in review, it was a skip delivery.I will DEFINITELY be coming in one of these days, especially for celebrations ?
This place has the best sushi I've had in Windsor. A friend and I went for a late lunch and we were not disappointed!
We are visitors from Ottawa who LOVE sushi and Korean. This place is doing it right! Fast, friendly service the moment we stepped in. VERY clean and classy. Even the contemporary K &J-pop in the background added to the experience. We had a sushi roll, bibimpop and ramen which were all exceptional. Even the side dishes (included with sit-in) were authentically delicious! 5-stars!!
When I first moved to Windsor I was MASSIVELY disappointed with the Japanese + Korean food. I’m so glad I found your location! It had to be the best in Windsor and the surrounding areas. It was pleasant, everyone was very kind and respectful, and the display of food was amazing! Absolutely wonderful tastes.
Wish I took pictures of the food but was very hungry. Sushi was impressive , staff was friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.Bonus was my partner was having an issue with her coat (stuck zipper) and they helped us deal with that.I would come back when visiting again.
Best place to eat korean cuisine in Winsor. I have not found any good Korean restaurant in Windsor since Emone closed four years ago. Now this place is legit korean gourmet cousin that your can enjoy without going to Detroit more Toronto. Awesome crew. Very helpful and the food is amazing.
Sushi is amazing!! Highly recommend the Tempura California roll as it was so crispy and delicious!! Avocado was amazing on the Green dragon roll!Definitely a must try
