Ever since these new owners took over the staff are always messing up orders. I understand if English is not the first language for most of the people working here but they need to start asking for clarification. Food is usually alright but they can mess up modifiers a lot
Omg I ordered two coffees and there was no one inside or in the drive through they took 5 min to get to take my order at the window. Then took another 15 min to get two coffees after I paid. The coffees are not up to a&w quality at all. This is my 2nd time coming here and the owner should be ashamed as it is clearly a on going issue with quality of the product and time management.
I have always visited A&W when I want a better burger than the other burger places.Not sure what has happened,tried this particular location for the first time.Placed online order,expensive almost $40 for two burgers,a kids burger and 1 order of chicken strips and onion rings.This was my worst A&W meal ever.Waited 20 mins for my order when I got there,which I don't mind figuring my food will be hot and fresh. The staff seemed lost and not well trained.I live two mins away,when we got home,burgers were ice cold,dry and looked like they were sitting around for a long time.Chicken fingers were a little warm,but did not look appetizing at all. Kids burger for my daughters first ever A&W meal looked disgusting.. a dry burger bun,and an even dryer pattie. Cold and old fries and onion rings.Not to mention the warm beverages,which were poured 15 minutes before my order was handed to me.They are advertising their 1956 burgers....they should focus on 1956 quality....and better prices.,and I'm sure they had ice in their drinks in 1956.The dine in restaurant was closed due to current covid protocols. These restaurants are saving money on dine in costs,no ice machine costs,...they claim people dont want watered down drinks,I would prefer a slightly cold watered down beverage over a warm one. Just a gimmick to not pay for ice machinesTheir prices are very high,and the quality is very low compared to 1956 and today's standards.Before we went I told daughter,A&W food is so much better than her other favorite burger place,yes McDonald's...I was proven that it isn't better,at least not any longer.
Not the same A&W it was when I was younger. Burgers are smaller and sort of dried out. But root beer is still good and the onion rings are great.
Price has gone through the roof and quality has been sifted through and forgotten. For the first time ever in my life i have found a burger i just CANNOT eat. Its just flat out GROSS. Get a dollar menu cheeseburger from just about anywhere and be better off for it i promise you'll thank yourself for saving $20 and eating a better burger or chicken.You should never pay $50 for 3 hamburger meals in any drive through ever.
One of the reasons why I like this place is because they offer your burger in a lettuce wrap. Best onion rings in the world, and who doesn't love a frosty mug of ice cold root beer.
Let me start by saying that giving 1 star is generous.I personally have been visiting this restaurant for years now. My partner the same on their own. For the past 2 years I have started to visit this restaurant with my family. We have always experienced great service, great food and an order that was always correct and if there was a wait, it moved along quickly. Since late July/early Aug, there has been a change in all mentioned above. We no longer see any of the employees we have come to know and the wait time is so much longer whether it be in the restaurant or drive thru. WHEN our order is correct, the food is squished into one bag rather than two, the food is not presentable squished or not, the order is wrong or warm-ish. We understand prices rise and we are willing to pay for a great experience, but not this. We can EASILY spend $40-$50 but for what? We no longer visit this location. The sad thing is we have experienced very similar situations at other locations. It's a shame because we LOVED A&W before this change (for lack of better words) and miss it.
Bought a teen burger and a poutine. The fries were old hard and not good, couldn't eat them they were very chewy. I don't recommend this place.
What has happened here.Service and delivery of food used to be top notch.Last night as I stood waiting for my order,all I saw was chaos and disorder.It looked like the 3 stooges were working.Cmon guys,get it together.
Mom really enjoys the mama or baby burger. And I enjoy going with her.
