This is a long time family operated Chinese restaurant in downtown Whitby which has a menu of typical favourites for non ethnic Chinese, ex. chicken balls, egg rolls. However, I like the food very much as it’s comforting, almost nostalgic, for an Asian person who grew up in small town Whitby. The food is fresh, skilfully prepared and delicious. They have plenty of authentic dishes too, mostly Cantonese style. Their combos for one are a nice quick lunch/dinner. I highly recommend Win Win!!
THIS IS WHY ITS HARD TO SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES!!! The man that works there absolutely has not one drop of manners, and to make things worse he doesn’t listen. You order one thing and he gives you what he wants, then after not listening is going to say you didn’t order that… WHAT?! Man told us to read the menu next time SIR THIS ISNT EVEN WHAT WE ORDERED!!!!! AND HE REALLY DIDNT TAKE IT BACK OR GIVE US BACK OUR MONEY. It gets worse !!!!!! He gave us pork …. AND WE DONT EVEN EAT PORK ? yet is going to say that’s what we ordered! WELL WICKED !
I used to live in Whitby 7 years ago. It now takes me 40 mins to drive to Win Win but I'm happy to do this drive as their food is as good as I first time I tried it over at least 15 years I want to say. I tried a few other places over the years because of the drive and I learned to make the trip here over trying new places. It's worth it everytime!!I thank you Win Win and I hope you never close this restaurant on me.
We had the Special C and honey garlic spare ribs. Everything was tasted amazing and had great portions. We found our new Chinese restaurant!!!
Ordered today at 1pm. Said we would pick up at 5:30 as agreed. Well we just finally got ot at 7pm!!! Horrendous service. There were 15 people there all in the same boat!! This is the last time we order from here as we had family waiting at home for 1.5 hours for the food to be ready. If you can't honor your time commitments then don't commit to rhe order!!! You just lost another customer and as I can see by the reviews that list is growing.
Awesome our favorite go to for Chinese food. We really enjoy it. Great taste, great value and great portions.
This place is the bomb ???
I came here last year and got some food and i dont remember the food being that bad Cause if it was i wouldnt have gone back. I got the #5 combo with chicken fried rice, honey garlic ribs and beef choy mein.IT WAS SO HORRIBLE!!! FIRST OFF THE CHICKEN FRIED RICE HAS A NASTY AFTER TASTE. JUST NOT EDIBLE AT ALL. TRY SOY SAUCE ON IT AND STILL DIDNT DO ANY JUSTICE.HONEY GARLIC SPARERIBS WAS SMALL AND DIDNT HAVE GOOD ENOUGH PORTION AND NOT GOOD FOR MY LIKING. USUALLY I LIKE SOME SAUCE ON IT BUT IT WAS SMALL AND TASTE ALRIGHT. I HAD MUCH BETTER.BEEF CHOY MEIN LACKING SOME FLAVOR. STILL DIDNT COMPLIMENT THE FRIED RICE.HAD BETTEREGG ROLL IS AN EGG ROLL. EAT IT WITH PLUM SAUCE YOUR FINE.SORRY I WONT BE COMING BACK HERE.IF YOU CANT GET YOUR FRIED RICE ONPOINT THEN OBVIOUSLY YOUR OTHER ITEMS MIGHT BE LACKING WHICH I EXPERIENCE.
Food is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. I don't have to wait to get served or pick up my food. Last order was a bit disappointing flavour wise and I found a hair in my main dish, but it was the first time I've had any issues with the restaurant
This place has alright food, sadly they employ people whom discriminate against those who are not able to wear masks during the COVID-19. These phantom inspectors who threaten places with fines for staying in line with basic human decency need to be ousted.
