Super fun place for a night our, decently prices drinks and if you have to pay the cover it's only $10. Very good vibes, the first room is more calm and laid back and the second room farther back is more high energy dancing area and the outside is nice to sit and talk.
Food is great. I haven't ordered anything I didn't like. But most importantly, service is excellent. All of the servers are friendly and attentive. This is my favourite in Durham!
Saturday nights aren't what they used to be...Beware of the brunette, bartender with glasses she kept my change and stater serving another patron. When I asked for my change - I was not given the correct amount, and gave me attitude. Tipping should be the patrons choice. Period.
Always excellent food and beer! Tried the new summer menu - spicy tuna tosada! Delicious!!
We hit them with a large group(25+) of high energy axe throwers at an off time with no reservations. The only waitress on duty at the time took care of us with a smile the whole time. The food was outstanding! Definitely will stop back if I'm in the area again.
Usually come here when they have 2 for $25 chicken strips. Their strips are breaded well and are moist when you bite into them. We've only tried the mild, medium, and general (tao?) flavors. Their basic mild/medium/buffalo sauces are fine, nothing special. The general (tao?) flavor is much to be desired though, not the best. They over sauced mine the last time and it was actually unappealing. The pub has a fairly musky smell inside too, but not the worst. My wife said it smelled like a bathroom but i think she was overexaggerating. The staff are very friendly though, but they can be kind of slow.Definitely some improvements to be made but i would still come back, especially for their chicken strip specials
Stopped in for dinner and had the Buffalo chicken wrap. It was tasty and the portion was quite large! Staff was a little slow on collecting drink orders etc but overall good experience
scratch made food, excellent service! We will definitely be back
What a pleasant surprise to enter a Pub on a Saturday night for dinner and actually feel like I didn't need to shout at my table guest. Ordered the calamari, deep fried pickles, wings and Greek salad. Everything was delicious until we discovered our calamari had been over-salted. Our waitress quickly took care of it for us and offered us another lbs of wings. Shared pleasant banter with the staff and got out of there before the DJ's arrived. We will be back!
I attended the Jean Charest Meet and Greet yesterday. Nice place with excellent staff. I highly reccomend a visit.
