I ordered:Tom YumTom KhaChicken Pad ThaiGreen CurryAnd coconut rice. This was my second try with this restaurant as I gave them the benefit of an off day. After a long day of work I was looking forward to some good Thai food. I was sadly mistaken, it wasn’t an off day. There was limited if any flavour, watery, to sweet and the lowest quality Thai food I’ve ever had. I would expect something more authentic and full of flavour from a restaurant. I wanted something close and quick, they need to use Farm Boys recipe for Thai soup.Very underwhelming and very disappointing. There are much better place in Whitby.I do understand the hardships in the restaurant industry the past couple of years but does that warrant skimping on quality. When I like a place I order often.
I got 3 different curries and they all looked basically identical. Thai food is some of the most flavoursome in the world; this place does a great disservice to that. Everything is creamy and bland: no tang, no spice, no lemon, even the coconut milk normally used seems to just be cream at this restaurant. Normally Thai curries also come with various veggies and/or nuts - expect nothing but a pile of protein here. Very disappointed, do not recommend at all.
I really wanted a dine in Thai food experience, and the photos are deceiving. Definitely not what this place looks like in person. The pictures make this place look bright, fresh and clean. Let's just say they were the opposite of all of those. They did not have table service and were doing take out only. We didn't bother ordering if we couldn't dine in.
We have been ordering from Thai delicious for years. They are consistently fresh and im particularly amazed at how their quality is never jeopardized when it's super busy. Last night we ordered for NYE they were lined out the door for pick up and I've said to my husband half a dozen times how great our meal / leftovers are. Thought I owed you guys a review .Also the mago salad is incredibly tasty and beautifully plated.
Love Thai Delicious. Their food is so good. Gluten free and vegan options!
I ordered the Pad See Ew the other day. Best Thai food i've ever had. It was so good I wanna go back tomorrow. 100% recommend. best food ever
Very good local authentic Thai, take out only right now.
Have done take out a couple of times. Not overly familiar with Thai cuisine but what we've ordered so far has been very good. Spring rolls are very tasty, they're small so I would count 2 per person (everyone wanted more). Ordered Massaman Beef, as recommended by other reviewer, would order again it's excellent. Same with the Sweet & Sour Chicken (will order twice as much next time). Tried a noodle dish, Pad Si Ew with Chicken, it's okay but not as flavourful as the other dishes.
I liked the vegetables more than the meat, let’s start with that. The beef was dry, tasteless, chewy, and way over cooked. The portion sizes was below average for both rice and proteins, not worth the quality or quantity. Called for a pickup and was advised to wait 30 minutes, their store wasn’t busy either but I chose to wait anyway. Spoiler alert: not worth the wait. The melody of vegetables was delicious, but the meat was very oily. This is supposed to be healthy, yet the food is drenched in oil? If you’re craving delicious Thai, this is not the place. If anyone is looking for safety protocols, this is not the place either. Feel free to walk in with no mask unfortunately. This place feels like it belongs in the heart of Oshawa. I hope everyone enjoyed their meals and was able to feel safe picking up their food without making anyone else uncomfortable.Be safe everyone, and save your money.
I ordered the lemon coconut soup (they call it by its proper name on menu) it was delicious! Big portions, fairly priced. They also didn’t skimp out on the chicken! I’ll be ordering again!
