Great selection and sushi contained generous portions of fish. Food was taste. Staff were very hard working and provided great service. My one complaint: Please add Coke Zero to your drink selection
EDIT: Went again this past weekend and the service was great! Asked me for refills without me having to ask and took away empty plates fast! Very impressed! And the food was great as usual!Old Review:Food is very tasty but the service isn't great. I tried to get the waitress's attention several times for a drink refill and felt like she heard me and just ignored.
As far as sushi places go, this one's nothing special. I went here because the ratings were the best in my area, but I'm not impressed. The fish tasted very bland, the eel rice bowl came with a tiny amount of eel, and a lot of rice, and the all you can eat is pretty pricey. The only saving grace is how helpful and nice the staff were. The pictures below show some of what I got (aside from 6 sets of rolls, 1 hand roll, and a tray full of all kinds of sashimi). The fried scallops, ice cream and fried milk cake were pretty good though.
I visited Japan back in 2018 and tried some of their best Sushi’s. I would never thought I would find the same outstanding flavour here in Canada. I would definitely recommend.
I visited this evening as I had been there once before, pre-pandemic, and I remembered the food was very good. When I entered she asked me if it was 'all you can eat' or a la carte, and I responded "all you can eat", as that was my previous experience. What I wasn't prepared for was the price, which is somewhat expensive at approximately $35 per adult. Seniors and children are not that much of a discount. But whatever, given how hard the pandemic was on the restaurant industry, I understand. Fast forward and every server was very gracious, up until the very end. The last person who served me was a lady whom I hadn't seen for the entire meal until that moment, when I asked for a desert. And she brought to me, all the while very sullen and expressionless. I thought I'd have enough cash on me but as the meal was more expensive than I anticipated, I ended up having to use my debit card, and asked this same lady for the debit machine. I did not include a tip on the debit transaction as I intended to leave cash on the table. This lady realized I didn't include the tip on the debit transaction and had the nerve to ask me if I was going to leave a tip? What????? I thought that was so rude, I got up and left. (Yes, I left a tip) But I won't be back.
The first 3 times I went there was absolutely delicous the ingredients and fish were so fresh and wa such an amazing experience, I took my mom their 1 last time wbfore out last lockdown and they used gross bad quality fish scraps ( like the meat between the bones and the discard basically ) for their spicy salmon. Absolutely digusting their quality went down tenfold. Anywys I wanted to give them 1 more chance because I had such a good experience the first few times. Anyways I took my mom there again for the last time and it was the same quality as the time before. I’m pretty bummed out because I was shocked at how good it was compared to the other places around here. But now it’s even worse, I wouldn’t come here again
Generous portions, food is superb, and to top that the owner super friendly. No reason for us not to come back and dine in again :)
All the food tested really good. Fast serve and polite people.
Sushi was really well made despite the fact that they were super busy. The fried rice needs a little flavour, seems like they make theirs without soy sauce. The speed of service was good, everything came out in a timely manner. I have been here before and would definitely go back.
I liked the food here but did not like the manual ordering system.ACYE is good option but it would be better to have tab ordering system to look at the pictures and it just seems really flexible.
