I been going to starr burger for a long time now and have never been disappointed with the food however when calling in advance for a pickup order the last couple months they seem to never answer the phone. When they do it take 3 or 4 tries for them to actually answer it.
We ordered the Starr burger, kids cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, steak sandwich, and french fries. Everything was delicious!! You can choose your burger toppings including sauteed onions (the best). The fries were fresh not from frozen, and salted to perfection. Will definitely go back!
I had moved away from Whitby and it had been 10 years since I had burgers from here, but I have to say they are still as good or even better than they were before! We ordered the Starr Burger 8oz cheeseburger with side of fries and onion rings. The burgers are truly homemade, taste, and smell great! I recommend getting the onion rings instead of the fries as they are super crispy and tasty which is hard to come by. Looking forward to visiting again :)
A staple of Whitby since the 90s. I remember getting sundaes after little league baseball. Their burgers, fries, onion rings, everything has stayed closely the same through all these years and continues to be delicious. Whenever I visit my hometown Whitby, I stop here for a burger.
It was my first time there my boyfriend took me there today April 30 2022 it was awesome food i will vome back again yummy thank you awesome food but very slow get your food i know it was busy but i get headaches when i dont eat right away
This place was highly recommended so we decided to give it a try. I found it disappointing. The burgers just tasted like standard frozen patties but were also dripping tons of Grease. The pourine wad also meh, as it wad kind of soggy and just had melted cheese on it instead of actual cheese curds. So overall, it wasn't awful but wasn't that great either. I probably won't go back.
I heard such good things about their burger + onion rings, but when I actually tried them it was so disappointing. Very greasy and not that great/flavourful.Good things about it are the price point, very affordable for a filling meal.
Been here several times and had a good experience however, this evening got there 20 minutes before they closed and was refused service. Was told they wouldn't have time to make my order because there was 2 people ordering in front of us. While I can understand closing times why then didn't they bother to lock the doors if they weren't willing to accept any more orders before closing? Was very disappointed
just ordered a large poutine my kids didn't finish it they thought it was gross. no cheese more like soggy fries and gravy. very disappointed. as I've had food in the past and enjoyed it. sucked tonight
This is my mama's and my FAVOURITE hamburger place in Whitby. It doesn't matter which end of town you have to journey from - it will be worth the trip. Our order is predictable and satisfying - and ALWAYS delicious! Go for the eight ounce Starr Burger - it is home grown! Yum. Thanks Starr Burger folx - it's been a tough year since my papa passed in June, but dinner from your busy kitchen always makes us smile.
