We have ordered from Rice to Go a handful of times , we are extremely satisfied with the food, and the pricing, we have picked up if we’re out, the owners are fantastic chefs, and are friendly to chat with. We will continue to order from them .
Store is clean, friendly people in the restaurant.Food is great.Accept all kind of request, since I want light in sauce…Vegetarian foods available as well ?Fresh veggies.Will try more items soon.
Incredibly tasty! Meat is always tender and moist, and loads of flavour. Creative dishes with good value!
We just ordered basil beef, unfortunately the dish was coated with dried European basil. Asian basil tastes completely different, very disappointing.
Their Pad Thai was not what you would have expected. I would have described it as rather a peanut noodle dish. There was no spice to it and very blank. HOWEVER, the chicken in this dish was amazing, which is why this received a 3-star rather than a 2-star. Probably won't be going back.
Their food is decent enough, the portions are generous, and the prices are sensible. I've had better, but that's not to say Rice to Go isn't good....we order from them fairly often.
Tom yum .. zero flavour. One shrimp, 1 pice green pepper, two pieces tofu. I'd be ok with skimpy ingredients atleast if broth was good. It's not. Do not go. Egg drop soup...also flavorless...dont buy. Very disappointed
Something has gone wrong with this place. The chef must have changed. Was going here for 5 years but now food is not cooked the same. Chicken balls are unedible rocks, dried up flavourless rice, recipies have changed, my wife threw hers in garbage.
I visited for lunch yesterday and tried the General Tso Chicken and fried rice. It was OK. Nothing spectacular but definitely edible and a decent portion size. Service was efficient and friendly. Given the price is very low I’ll give this a 4 stars for overall value for money.
Anyone else experience a change or downgrade in the food? Been a regular but my most recent order had some minor changes new type of soy sauce which tastes horrible. More fortune cookies than usual (which is a good thing). Chicken balls had less chicken inside. The food had the same appearance but definitely it went from amazing to wouldn't order again. I called to see if there were new owners but apparently not... but sounds like there might be a new chef. Not happy about it since this was my go-to Chinese food Spot. Please update me if they get the old chef back
