I had given up on Popeyes after another store had made me ill. I also had issues down the states in NJ, all this after loving the store in Athens Ga, that could do no wrong. I figured it was going to be southern U.S. thing, and nothing else.Tonight, I did what I thought was an insane thing, and went here instead of another friend chicken franchise. And am I ever happy I did. Faith in Popeyes in restored. There is turnover here, a steady line up of people coming and going. I ordered a 12pc family meal. The biscuits are what I remember. The fries are good, nothing special. But the chicken was perfect. Crunchy/crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked throughout, not greasy and the taste on the money. Happiness. The red beans and rice are yet to be sampled. Tomorrow. And I want to see what happens with the fried chicken the next day as well cold. There have been complaints posted here about the service. No such issues tonight. They did not have enough chicken for my order, and made it all fresh. Yes, I had to wait, no issues. The lady who took my order thanked me for my patience. Patience rewarded.Recommended and I will return here. As I said faith in the Popeyes brand restored.

The Chicken is awesome. As far as fried Chicken goes it is my favorite so far. Beats KFC and Chick-fil-A. Though it is more expensive. Open late so it is convenient. I found the side dishes to be so-so. I think the French fries could be thicker and the Mac and cheese didn't taste that cheesy.

Found the cashier very cold. She was least interested in answering questions about the combo offerings. Her manager even asked her to reply back but she was still busy cleaning and getting her job done. Found it to be rude. But I appreciate the manager's concern and jumping in to cater us.

Food is good but come on CLEAN YOUR WINDOWS!! They are filthy!!! You know what they say…if the front of the house is dirty can you imagine what the back of the house looks like…..see you next week….

Terrible customer service! Management and staff are not properly trained. They make you wait and get orders wrong all the time. Also, not once they said sorry about waiting or getting orders wrong. This is the 2nd time this had happened to me.Seems like the management changed because it wasn't like this before. The employees working at this location are not friendly. Also, the cooks were not wearing hair nets while cooking.Like the other bad reviews I'm not the only one and I'm not surprised. It was mistake coming here again. Avoid this location.

Over cooked dark brown colored chewy chicken patties served. Worst Popeyes experience.

I have eaten at, picked-up, and ordered for delivery from this Popeyes location numerous times in the past without any issues. However, I am now compelled to provide this 1 out of 5-stars rating because of a terrible experience after making a $70.64 (including tip) order via Uber Eats on January 2, 2022. After noticing that my order of five-piece tenders was missing from the delivered items received at 8:33 pm, I called the Uber Eats delivery person at 8:38 pm to inform him of the missing item, he apologized and directed me to call Popeyes stating that he had only picked up what was already packaged together and provided to him by the Popeyes staff.I called Popeyes restaurant (4099 Baldwin Street South, Whitby, Ontario) at 8:41 pm, the female staff on the phone asked me to double check the order received because according to their records, the tenders was packed. This was the first upsetting response because as a customer that usually does not like to complain, I ensured to double check even before calling. Anyway, after giving her the Uber Eats delivery person’s name and order #, she told me to pick up the tenders at the restaurant location. This was the second upsetting response because I paid and opted for delivery for a reason, and I informed her that my family and I were under isolation for COVID-19 precautions and could not leave the home to pick the tenders up. Even after informing her of this, she insisted she could not help and for me to call Uber! I asked to speak to the manager and she claimed “I am the manager”. She continued to state she “can’t deliver it” and repeatedly suggested for me to call Uber. I was very upset at this point because I had already informed her that the Uber Eats delivery person had told me to call Popeyes and I did not appreciate being passed back and forth. The Popeyes “manager” then offered that I could pick up a credit for the tenders “in 2 weeks”! This was the boiling point for me, I particularly ordered the tenders for my children to have for dinner that night, and not in 2 weeks!!!I felt neither company, Uber Eats or Popeyes, took responsibility for the mistake, which I see largely to be Popeyes’ mistake. I was extremely upset and had to end the phone interaction.I decided to call Popeyes again at 9:06 pm to ask for the manager and her name, the female staff who answered the phone did not provide the requested information, she paused and said she would call me back in a minute. I, however, asked if she could just quickly provide the name of the manager, again the female staff avoided the request and stated she had to go because she had a customer, would call back "in a minute" and hung up the phone. She obviously did not call me back. This whole Uber Eats and Popeyes experience was awful, especially during a time of high stress for my family. Apart from losing ~$11+ for the missing order, I was disheartened and angered by the lack of accountability and compassion. The manager and the staff on shift at this Popeyes location exhibited incompetence, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE skills and questionable integrity.

The owners of this Popeyes are dedicated and committed to their product. The food here is so much better than the other Popeyes in the area. Chicken is always fresh and never sitting around waiting to be purchased. This place is way too busy! Call ahead and place your order so everything is ready. Especially if you want an apple pie. The pies at Popeyes are still deep fried and take a while to prepare. Enjoy.

I tried many locations in the GTA and ordered couple times in this location. They never over cooked or burnt my chicken wings. Very juicy and crispy golden brown. I’m sure they changes their oil often to make it golden crispy comparing many other locations they became burnt-dark fried chicken . Please keep it up with this quality, it is very hard to find an owner willing to spend more money keeping their quality fresh nowadays.

Ordered 2 four piece combo took them 20mins to served and the chicken taste a bit funny there’s like after taste, end up throwing food it a waste.
