Got the steak frites (medium-rare) with truffle fries.The steak and sauces exceeded my expectations. It was a perfect medium-rare.The truffle fries were a disappointment. Fries came out cold and soggy. They used cheap Parmesan and truffle oil.Portion sizing was excellent, and I left full.Overall… it’s Jack Astors. They met the expectation I had of the franchise: not bad, but not particularly great either.I’d return to this restaurant (if there were no better options around)
Our server, Grace was awesome! She went above and beyond her job and made our night even more great. She keep checking on things and didn't make us feel as if we had to leave.
UPDATE: updating my previous 2 star to a 4 star simply because the food is delicious and they addressed this issue promptly. This location really took it to 11 to try to resolve my complaint by ensuring our next experience is much better than this one. They also will be utilizing this review as training for their new team members, which is what I was hoping for, so that other customers do not encounter this same issue.The chicken fingers have always been my husbands favourite but it seems they’re now smaller portions with higher pricing. We called tonight and were left on hold and had to hang up and call back to try to get ahold of someone to take our order. We ordered just 2 chicken finger entrees and fries and after tip it came to $50. When we got home, the portions were so dinky for that price and we were upset to find out that they have a takeout promotion for $39.99 where we could have gotten garlic bread, 2 chicken fingers entrees and 2 kids meals…how did we pay $43+tip for just 2 chicken finger entrees when we could have gotten all of that? lol If someone calls in and is ordering something that has a promotion, they should tell you about the promotion!

The perfect dinner spot after seeing a movie! The food is great, the service is friendly and a special shout out for the gluten-free, lactose-free, nut-free sorbet dessert on the kids menu! My daughter loved it!
It was a birthday. I wrote it on the reservation, they forgot. The noise was loud and the food was good, but the lettuce in the salad was limp. They were flexible with time. It was nice I will go again.
We were excited to go out for dinner and really like jack astors ! Unfortunately the food was lack lustre :( the food was very salty and my chicken parmesan had a odd dill taste and our nachos were at best ok but the chips were maybe stale. Kids liked the paste and the French fries thatâs all I can say disappoint ! Service from server was great !
Service was great. All of our food tasted good but it was all cold. All four meals were cold except for the side of sweet potato fries. Very strange. We had plans afterwards so didnât bother mentioning it.
Service was great and drinks were also tasty. Food was alright but this is usually alright with chains of restaurants.
