my friends and i have been ordering poutines on our lunches for about 2 years. one day we go in after paying for our food and we sit down to eat when we were then told we weren’t allowed to sit down inside because “the seats are for people spending more money” it is ridiculous that they treat younger kids this way because they feel they have some authority over young people. other customers got angry with them and left with us. to buy food then be treated as if i am not a paying customer is crazy
Service is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean. Great portion of food and it all tasted great. We had breakfast and a fish and chip order. Will definitely go back.
We have ordered from here before and it was pretty good. Tonight got home and the fish was cold! I literally live a few minutes away. Funny as I ordered and waited so really it should have been piping hot!!!Will not be returning!
Server was friendly and food was good.Would recommend to anyone who loves fish and chip.Breakfast meal looks good too, didn't try but i will try for sure.
Amazingly delicious halibut and Greek salad....the fries were amazing too!! Huge portions and my parents enjoyed the senior special..was a fabulous deal!
Decent fishnchips, large serving sizes and great customer service. Indoor interior is also nice, which made me tempted to eat inside. I would recommend checking out this place as it has some great deals.
Halibut King provides the best Halibut and Cod for the overall value. It's non greasy and taste incredibly great. The menu keeps you guessing what to order on the next visit. The Seven day Seniors Special may be the best value fish meal in all of Durham. The service is kind with full of ideas in addition to your order.
Delicious! I ordered the seniors special (one piece of halibut and chips). The batter was crispy, fish cooked perfectly and the fries had a bit of grease but it was fresh not old grease. Would definitely go here again.
Greasy fish! Ordered halibut but it was not halibut. More batter than anything. Weird taste. Glad I didn't get sick! Never again.
The food was good, probably 4 stars, but owners were not friendly and overall atmosphere was just OK. Prices were good, especially the special they had on at the time. I would have given three and a half stars were that an option.
