They gave one of our order incorrectly. The waffles were not even warm when they were served to us (and not crispy at all). The ice cream was melting and we got one smaller than usually we got in other demetres.
Great food, had the chocolate crepe with the brownies and a hot chocolate! For a chocolate loved, it hit the spot!…it would’ve been nice if they had a deal or special for birthdays.None the less- it was good but too expensive for what you get.
The desserts are excellent! My husband and I went yesterday, and we were so impressed, we had to go again today! Service was quick, and both of our servers were very friendly. Seating staff were also very nice/accommodating. Our waitress today, Meghan, was hilarious and very helpful! I didn’t manage to get a photo of our order today, it was eaten far too quickly ? I love that they bring a jug of water to the table. Ice cold water with ice cream is a must, and it’s amazing not having to call someone over every 10 minutes! Something also worth mentioning: it was VERY busy. The outdoor patio was nearly full and when we arrived there were several tables inside. We were assured we would be seated soon, and we were. Our food came fairly quick for how busy they were, on top of takeout and Uber orders. That was very impressive. All in all, two great experiences. Again, thanks Meghan for the laugh and the great service!

Good food, came without delay.Lot's of seating.Not quite like the newer Markham location in terms of ambiance but still nice.Felt like the AC could have been on as it was quite low but otherwise, a nice location.
Had a really great time here. It was really busy in the store so I expected a long wait. Even though it took long the staff were still friendly and patient. They did a good job, we'll be back soon and hopefully it won't be as crazy haha.
One Star is good enough, 52 Dollar bill and honestly I don’t know for what, half a parfait glass of graham crumbs and some blended pudding and fruit, Way over priced for what you get. staff disorganized, brought one dessert that sat melting on the table until the others came. Nope never again !
Visited last night for dessert at around 9:00 pm. The place wasn't too busy. We were seated fairly quickly and our server was nice. Small incident with the glass we were served water in, it had a lipstick stain on the rim which was gross but the server apologized and switched it out for us. We ordered 2 crepes and both came out ice cold. I've been visiting demetres for over a decade and I have never had a cold and gummy crepe before. Isn't the point of going to get fresh crepes to have them warm or at least somewhat warm??? I asked the server to feel the crepe and she agreed that it was cold. She offered to switch it out but I noticed in the back there were two guys working, one was clearly the one making the crepes, watching as I spoke to the server. They were snickering and laughing as if the mistake they made was hilarious. Even when she took it back, she explained the mistake the person making the crepe and he laughed and had a huge smile on his face. Then she was explaining what had happened to someone in a darker colored apron, he had a smug smile on his face the whole time and rolled his eyes while she was explaining the situation. If you're going to charge 19 dollars for a cold crepe, the least you can do is throw in some decent customer service. I have never been so turned off by an establishment and its staff. Will never be coming back.
Our family loves Demetres ice cream. The wait time is for sure very high but definitely worth waiting for yummy desserts they serve. Honey vanilla is one of my favourite here it’s a must try.
