Okay, you just can't beat this place for the value. Even if the prices were higher I would be impressed. This was our first time at Chuck's, but won't be our last. Had the porterhouse, baked potato and corn on the cob for $30?... Yes please. The steak was magnificent as was the potato. Also had the wings....absolutely delicious and my wife had the burger which was one of the best burgers I've tasted. The kids menu is like $6 a meal and great food! Highly recommend this place. Shout out to our server Matthew, nothing but great service!Yes the prices are impressive, but the food is great. I spent $54 on a steak at The Keg the night before and much preferred this one....
Our visit to Chuck's Roadhouse was great! I had Fish Tacos, my son had steak well done with French fries, and my other family members, had Cheese Burgers, with French fries. We did not have to wait long, for the food. The wait did forget to bring the gravy, for the fries...but went back to get it. Otherwise, great time and food!
I had the bone in New York, and it was pretty delicious. Juicy and flavourful. Some said more flavourful than the ribeye, but that looked really fatty (the good kind) and tender too. The big surprise at our table was the burger, though. It's probably what I'll order if I go back. Spinach goat cheese dip and nachos were smallish but good. Fries are middle of the road, but you're there for meat and cheap drinks!
My family has a tradition sort of say of going to a Chuck's every few months and TBH I've noticed as have they that not only has the quality of service at most locations gone down but the food is not only no longer a good deal but to be blunt a rip off more like. Tonight my family ordered meals and appetizers and almost nothing was appealing or tasted that good. Barely saw our server and while was steady the restaurant was not busy and it used to be packed much of the time when we'd go. Makes me think alot of others have also observed the poor service and sub par food quality. Sadly after today my family will most likely not have our Chuck's tradition anymore. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil, burger was burnt as well as the bun, lobster was rubbery and after ordering it realized it was a 12 dollar difference than the 7oz steak on its own it also tasted like it was frozen, as well as the fish tasted like it came from the local grocery store frozen fish section. Ending this on the one good note: the steak I ordered was well cooked.
Absolutely amazing service, not one complaint. My wings were taken away before i was done because i went to the bathroom and left nothing behind to say i i was still eating. they weren’t aware i was still eating but they absolutely made up for it. they reimbursed us for our beer and our food. The owner kevin is such a nice and genuine person, anything you need he will be there for. Absolutely somewhere you should eat the food and drinks are at such great prices!
This is the only Chuck’s Roadhouse I will go to even though I live in Ajax. The staff here are absolutely amazing and very accommodating. I also love how their takeout containers are reusable, very eco friendly.
Nice clean restaurant with generous portions served by courteous staff. The prices are excellent and the hand made patty was cooked to perfection. The fries were hot and delicious. All in all the experience was good enough to bring me back. Conveniently located near Princess Auto.
Absolute favourite Chucks to go to. Meal is always done to perfection. And the service is great ❤
The manager was especially rude. We ordered medium well steaks for pickup, and when we got our order, the meat was over cooked and burnt. We could not eat it.I called the restaurant and explained the situation to the manager and asked her for options to remediate the issue and the first thing she said was "I am not about to give out free food" I felt very insulted, like we were looking for a handout or something. No apologies, just the very rude statement.We eventually had to return the food back to the restaurant, at which time she rudely offered us a refund and replaced the food.Last time I am ever ordering food from this restaurant again. We used to enjoy ordering from the Whitby location but NEVER again.
My food was good..service was terrible..the server Matthew was very abrupt and abrasive....and they charged us for mayonnaise for our burger..for mayo?!!..it was freezing ...colder inside than it was outside..was not good experience
