One of the BEST biriyani makers. Awesome taste. We tried many places, this one stands out always.Just make sure you get it all right in take aways. They missed 1 or other items & I have to go back all the way twice. Its difficult when you are hungry. Owner is a nice guy. He was apologetic when he came to know.

Loved the Indian food here. Everything was super tasty and made with a lot of hard work and love.I love the appetizer Guntur Chicken. Beware, it is very spicy. Most people will not be able to handle it.Karampodi Kodi Chicken is also really good. The Chili Naan and Onion Kulcha were mind blowing. So was the Lal Chicken. What a unique flavor. Almost a mix of Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala and Karahi Chicken. Make sense? Must try.Had the Gongura Mutton Biryani. Good flavor but a bit salty. My other recommends are their Kheema Biryani, Malai Kebab, Masala Lollipops and Tandoori Chicken.I didn’t particularly like the Veg Dum Biryani, Apollo Fish or Shahi Paneer (a bit too sweet)Overall, one of the best desi places you will find anywhere and that’s a big reason they are now at 7 locations. The service was also excellent and so was the ambience. They have lunch specials that range from $10-12 depending on which one you order. Looking forward to trying that.

Edit: The staff went above and beyond to make it right. We were offered a discount and a dessert to make our experience better. We are happy with the experience and the food was delicious. Thank you for making it right. Appreciate the effort. Two of us visited the place. One received the order and the other was waiting 15 min (correction 30 min. Food is still not here) One finished eating and the other had not even received anything that was ordered.

Ordered Kadai chicken and Amaravati chicken. They looked exactly the same - orange puree of mysterious ingredients and I couldn't say what I was actually eating other than that it was very spicy. I even think we got exactly the same puree, difference being in degree of spiciness. Plates were full of fat - some oil was emerging on top of my puree. Chicken pieces contained pieces of fat and chicken skin, which I hate. I was rather expecting nice chicken breast. I ate 1/3 and decided never to order again as this had nothing to do with healthy meal I was thinking I would get as per delicious description.

Food was okay but I felt Scarborough’s quality and taste is much better. BEWARE they are not charging as per their online menu even after asking you to refer to it through barcode scanning. They charged me more for one of the biriyani items and I realized this after making the payment along with a generous tip. When inquired they apologized with some lame excuse that they are changing prices and because of that some of the items are not reflecting their correct prices. I’m pretty sure any other restaurant would have honoured the menu price but not this store. Not so good experience!

When you are looking for authentic Indian food flavour, spices and heat this is the restaurant to visit or take out from. Their biryanis are filled with all the right ingredients to tantalize your taste buds and create a sensory memory worth keeping. So I encourage you to take a culinary adventure with Charminar as you won't be disappointed.I always remind my food followers that authentic food takes time to prepare, has beautiful intense flavours, spicy at times and worth the party in your mouth, this is not fast food or for the favour challenged!

I dont know if the taste is great for original indian taste but for me the biryani is nice! Portion is crazy for a regular meal size, they tryna kill me by eating a lot of biryani. Overall is good, staffs are friendly.

Baby corn Manchurian and chicken 65 is freaking amazing ??

This place is a scam. Ordered from here thinking it was good food based on reviews…. only to realize they’ve had almost 30, 5 star reviews in the last 3 days - clearly the owner paid for fake reviews or has friends/family doing it. If you filter to see lowest reviews you will see REAL people posting with photos and actual comments. The food we ordered was low quality, just rice and sauce. You’re better off going to Signature Indian down the street.

Can’t recommend this place for people with allergies. After being seated, my wife let the server know she had some allergies (gluten and seafood) and had been here before and the kitchen accommodated. We were told flatly by the server they could not recommend she order anything from their kitchen.Very disappointing there was no effort to accommodate someone with an allergy and were basically told we are not welcome at this restaurant.
